Shivalika was not in the mood to join everyone in this Rishikesh visit after her conversation with her parents but she couldn't deny it because Rishikesh is the place sagas, it is a spiritual place, people find peace witnessing the river ganga, praying to lord Shiv and thanking him for all the prosperity.
How can she not come here? She still remembers the last time she randomly made a plan to visit Rishikesh, Shiviji gave her the best gift of her life. She smiled remembering it. That was precious to her.
"Wow!" Her thoughts interrupted by her daughter who exclaimed in surprise looking at the river ganga. They were at the Triveni Ghat.
"You will be more fascinated when you will see the Ganga Arti in the evening" Yash's mother, Shruti told her.
"Really?"
"Yes"
"Places like this are best, children should visit and learn their culture!" Arjun said.
Shivalika's heart softened at the sight of her daughter's awe, reflecting her own feelings from the last visit. The Triveni Ghat is a magic itself. it holds a positive energy in the atmosphere. As they walked along the ghat, the hustle and bustle of everyday life seemed distant, replaced by the serene rhythm of the river.
"Nani, What is the Ganga Arti?" her daughter asked, her eyes wide with curiosity.
"It's a special ritual where people gather to offer prayers to the river Ganga," Chandrika explained, her voice filled with warmth.
"They light lamps and sing hymns, and the whole atmosphere is filled with devotion and peace."
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"It's not just a sight. it's an experience. These moments help us connect with our roots and appreciate the richness of our culture."
Shivalika could see the excitement building in her daughter's eyes, and it made her own heart swell with happiness. As they continued their stroll along the riverbank, she felt grateful for this shared experience, knowing that these moments would become cherished memories for her family.
Shivalika looked at the view in front of her eyes, after a long time she was feeling relaxed as if her all the problems, stress everything faded away, her face held a satisfactory smile when she sat down there. Even in the middle of the hustle bustle she found peace.
"Shivi, lets go to the temple, then you can come back and sit here" Chandrika told her awkwardly, Shivalika's smile immediately dropped. She was already upset with her parents and they know very well that no one should talk to her when her mood is spoiled.
Yash noticed the tension between the mother daughter duo and frowned in confusion but seeing Shivalika's calm face after a long time, he spoke.
"Let her, badi maa. She is not a kid, we should go to the temple, She will come behind us in a few minutes, Right Shivi?" Shivalika gave him a cult nod.
"Fine! We will wait there!" She looked at Shivalika in hesitation but agreed in the end, Shivalika looked at Yash and thanked him through her eyes.
"Don't make us wait too much, bhondu! And Keep the phone with you, if something troubles then call me" He told her and took Vartika in her arms.
"Now, I will not be tired" Vartika gave him a toothy smile.
"Always at your service, My Lady" he pinched her soft cheek and they all left from there.
Shivalika sighed when they left and recalled the conversation she had with her parents in the hotel room.
