Shivalika's shoulders slumped as she realized the depth of their anger and disappointment. She had never felt so alone and frightened in her life, knowing that she had shattered their trust and brought shame upon their family name.

The room seemed to close in on her, her breath growing shallow and her vision blurring. Her heart pounded in her chest, each beat echoing louder than the last. She tried to take a deep breath, but it felt like her lungs were constricted, refusing to fill. Panic surged through her, her thoughts spiraling out of control.

She couldn't breathe, she gasped, clutching her chest. Her parents' angry faces blurred, replaced by a suffocating darkness. She stumbled back, her legs giving way as she sank to the floor.

"Shivalika!" her father exclaimed, rushing to her side. Her mother, her anger momentarily forgotten, knelt beside her, her face etched with concern.

"What's happening?" Arjun asked, his voice trembling. Shivalika's breaths came in ragged, uneven gasps as she fought to calm herself. Her vision tunneled, and she felt as if she might lose consciousness.

"It's a panic attack," her mother said, her voice softer now.

"Shivalika, look at me. Breathe with me, okay? In through your nose, out through your mouth." Shivalika tried to focus on her mother's voice, following her instructions. Slowly, the darkness receded, and her breathing began to steady. She clung to her mother's presence, the panic gradually subsiding.

"It's okay, you're okay," her mother whispered, stroking her hair.

"Just keep breathing." As the attack passed, Shivalika's body trembled with exhaustion. Her father helped her to a nearby chair, his eyes filled with worry.

"Shivi!" he called out her name gently. Shivalika shook her head, fresh tears spilling down her cheeks.

"I-I di-didn't know h-how. I-I w-was so sc-scared, a-and I di-didn't want to-to dis-appoint yo-u mo-more." She stuttered. Her mother sighed, her expression softening.

"We need to talk about this, but for now, you need to rest. We'll figure this out together." Shivalika shook her head in negative.

"Pl-Please listen to me! Please! Please please!!" She requested. She was feeling overwhelming guilt and shame. She has to tell them everything. She can't abort this child.

Chandrika panicked, she was worried for her, this much stress and tension is not good for her and the baby. So she said.

"We will listen to you" she stork her head. And looked at Arjun who gave a nod.

Shivalika's trembling voice broke through the silence as she fought to steady her breathing.

"I...When I realised I was pregnant.." guilt washed up in her body as she continued

"I told Aditya. He was Shocked first. But then he was looking happy, I never saw him so happy before. but before he could react or say something, I told him that I am not ready. He was disappointed but that's the truth. I was being practical while he was emotional. After a lot of time I went to the hospital," She began, her voice barely more than a whisper.

"Aditya and I... we decided it was the right thing to do. I knew it was hurting him, he supported me but deep inside he wanted to stop me, he wanted to stop me from aborting our child. But I was hellbent, I didn't understand, I was so grossed with guilt and shame that I ignored his feelings, I was scared. Because It is easy for him to say keep the child but I-- neither my body nor my mind was ready to accept it."
