"No! No! No!!" Vartika said while sitting on the couch.
The whole family was present in the living hall and was discussing the destination they should go to because it was Vartika's summer vacations and she wanted to go on a trip with the family.
"But Vee, India also has beautiful places," Arjun told her.
"No, Nanu!! See I searched on Google" Vartika showed the list she made on her tab.
"Don't believe on Google! And If You visit Vietnam then it will take a lot of days, And It's your vacation, We don't get vacations, Vee" Shivalika told her, her daughter was not listening to anyone.
"But Mumma, I want to experience nature, It's My holiday homework! Ma'am said to write an essay on the experience of my recent trip" She pouted.
"I am working on a case right now, the next trial date is close, Neither can I take so many leaves nor Yash, Find a place which is near or else go with Nanu Nani"
"NO, MUMMA!! I want to go with everyone" Vartika argued, She was not ready to understand nor her mother.
"Vee----" Chandrika was about to say something but Vartika didn't listen to her.
"No, Sundar Nani!"
"Vartika! Is this a way to talk to elders? This is what they teach you in school?" Shivalika scolded her, She was already frustrated and Vartika's continuous contempt made her had enough, Vartika's eyes filled with tears as Shivalika raised her voice, it was the first time she raised her voice.
"Shivi!! Stop scolding her! She is a kid!" Arjun scolded his daughter.
"Dad, Don't take her side! You all have spoiled her! She doesn't care who is standing in front of her before saying anything" Shivalika complained.
Vartika started crying because of the tone her mother used, Chandrika immediately took her on her lap and started consoling her along with Shruti.
"She is a kid, she doesn't know what's right and what's wrong, Stop scolding her, Shivi" Ram told her as he noticed How Vartika's face turned red from crying.
"If we do not scold her now then she will keep this attitude in future too, That's wrong," Shivalika told him.
"You never take me anywhere! I just want to go on a trip with my family!" Vartika said while hugging her maternal grandma and cried more, Shivalika looked at her, She was not liking seeing her crying but it was needed.
"Where didn't we take you? Yash takes you to the amusement park whenever you want, I take you to your favourite place, you visited south india last year with Uncle Aunty. Still you complain, stop being an ungrateful brat" Shivalika said with the same tone.
"I want to go with My whole family!"
"You know everyone in my class goes on vacations and trips with their family, They then tell me how they enjoyed with their parents" She told her.
"Aren't your family taking you anywhere? Me, Yash your both Nanu Nani, everyone take out some time and take you wherever you want!" Shivalika replied
"Their father also takes them everywhere!" Vartika said throwing her emotions out, She doesn't care what she is saying when she cries.
Shivalika and Other family members looked at her in shock, She was not expecting this.
"V-Ve----"
"Everyone talks about their fathers, where they took them? What they brought for them, how they play with them! And I sit there like a dumb, Mumma! They bully me because I don't know about My father! That day I slapped My classmate because she was making fun of me. She said I don't have a father because god hates me! and when I complained to the teacher she scolded me instead that's why I ran out of the school when I met Stranger Uncle!" She blurts out everything that she was holding back.
