Aditya stepped out of his car, adjusting his coat as he looked up at the venue Shivalika had chosen. Yes, he is on a date... which is planned by love of his life.
It wasn't a grand hotel or a fancy restaurant; instead, it was a charming little rooftop café adorned with twinkling fairy lights. The city skyline stretched out behind it, and the soft hum of music carried on the cool evening breeze.
He smiled to himself, his heart racing slightly. Trust her to pick something unique.
As he walked toward the entrance with a big bouquet in his hands, The host at the door greeted him with a knowing smile. "Mr. Aditya Agnihotri"
"Yes."
"Right this way."
Aditya followed the host up a spiral staircase that opened to the rooftop. The sight before him took his breath away. The area was transformed into an intimate setting just for the two of them. A table for two sat in the centre, lit by warm candlelight. Around it, fairy lights hung in delicate loops, and petals were scattered across the floor.
"Hope you enjoy, sir" With that the host left,
Aditya glanced around, his brow furrowing slightly as he realized Shivalika wasn't there. The setting was perfect, almost too perfect, and her absence only heightened his anticipation. His eyes roamed over the carefully curated space—the soft glow of the candles, the gentle flicker of the fairy lights, and the petals that seemed to lead to nowhere in particular.
He stepped closer to the table, running a hand through his hair. "I haven't seen you for the whole day and still you are testing my patience" he muttered under his breath, the corner of his lips twitching into a small, amused smile despite his confusion.
Just then, his phone buzzed in his pocket. He pulled it out, noticing a message from Shivalika:
Shivalika- "Looking handsome, Mr Agnihotri"
A smile crept on his face at her compliment, he looked around to find her but he still couldn't find her.
Aditya- "Where are you?"
Shivalika- "In your heart..."

Aditya- "That you have been for years, My Love. But where are you right now, and you can see me!" His eyes kept searching for her
Shivalika- "Patience, Adi. Look around. You'll find me if you try a little."
Aditya sighed, shaking his head. "I have been patient all this time" he muttered, slipping the phone back into his pocket. He was waiting for this evening so desperately already, Shivalika left before he woke up in the morning and then he received a message from her that they will go on a date today, but this was not just a normal date and he could feel it.
FLASHBACK
(earlier in the morning)
On Call:
Aditya- "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? I SAID SHE IS NOT PICKING UP MY CALLS!!"
Aditya screamed at the top of his lungs while talking to Yash.
Yash- "First relax! I am saying she must be busy, AND YOU COULD HAVE CALLED ME AFTER TAKING A BATH" Yash said because Aditya was on a call with him while he was taking a shower.
Aditya- "Not like I am on a video call with you!!! and I have taken the shower, so shut up and listen to me!! All of a sudden? When I woke up, All I saw was a sticky note that said that she was dropping Vee at her school"
