Long Chapter
"MS CHAUHAN!!!" Aditya's voice thundered through the Chauhan Mansion, echoing off the walls as he called out her name. His rage was palpable, like a storm brewing on the horizon. He stood in the centre of the living room, his breath ragged with fury. The watchman tried to stop him but he didn't stop. No one has ever seen Aditya this angry before. Startled by the outburst, the entire family abandoned their activities and gathered in the hall, their faces etched with confusion and shock. Aditya's eyes darted around the room, scanning every face, searching for her.
Then she appeared.
Shivalika descended the staircase, her movements were fast. Her shock was evident, her heart pounding so loudly she feared it might burst from her chest. She had never seen Aditya like this before, seething, almost trembling with unrestrained anger. Her mind raced, trying to make sense of what could have driven him to such a state. She felt the weight of his gaze, his eyes locking onto hers with an intensity that made her blood run cold.
"You! Who allowed you inside? What are you doing here!?" Arjun demanded, stepping forward, his voice laced with authority. But he halted abruptly when Aditya raised his hand, a silent command that froze him in place.
"Don't you dare interfere today!" Aditya's voice was a dangerous warning. "I won't leave until I get what I am here for," he declared, his eyes never leaving Shivalika.
"Adi-Aditya..." Shivalika's voice trembled as she spoke his name, the shock rendering her almost speechless. She had always been quick to snap back at him, always ready with a retort, but today... today, the words failed her. Fear gripped her as he advanced, each step he took, made her step back.
She had never seen him like this. And it terrified her, She was confused and scared at the same time. Confused thinking why is he angry? and scared by the thought of the reasons behind his anger she was assuming.
"Wa- What's wrong?" She whispered, her heart pounding in nervousness.
"What's wrong? You tell me! hiding something is wrong, right?" Shivalika looked at him and then at her family members in confusion but nodded eventually not wanting to drag it.
"Then, Are you hiding something from me that I deserve to know?" Aditya asked, His eyes locked with her, His eyes showed many emotions behind his angry face.
Shivalika's breath hitched, She was left dumbstruck along with her family.
Yes, She was hiding but how will she tell him, He already looks very furious. She wanted to say yes but all of sudden her throat dried, she was unable to form words.
"Aditya I---"
"Just say Yes or No" He cut her words in the middle, he sounded authoritative.
Shivalika didn't say anything. She knew if she replied with only Yes or No then he won't let her explain, so it is better to stay silent then bringing up more Misunderstandings.
"I don't know what are you talking about!" She replied and looked away. Hearing this, Aditya shut his eyes for some seconds to calm himself down but nothing was helping him,
Aditya let out a bitter laugh, the sound devoid of any humor. "Don't play innocent with me," he said, his voice rising again, filling the room with its intensity. "I know everything. The lies, the betrayal... you thought I wouldn't find out?"
Shivalika's heart dropped. Lies? Betrayal? The words echoed in her mind, and she knew what he was talking about. Her confusion faded, and Aditya noticed it. He pulled out the papers and showed her, his fury gaze never left her frightened one. Shivalika looked at him and then at the paper, her wiggling brows relaxed and her face paled, she had an idea but still there was a thought that she must be wrong but now it is in front of her. She never in her dreams thought that he would get to know the truth like this. How and When did this DNA thing happen?
