"What are you doing with the company?" Harivansh asked Aditya, He looked furious... Very furious.

Aditya leaned back in his chair in his office, completely unfazed. "I did nothing," he replied nonchalantly, folding his hands behind his head like he was lounging on a beach. Internally, he smirked. It wasn't a lie. He had done nothing. No supervision, no work. Leading to a big loss. The loss was so big that Harivansh needed to come here to his office to discuss it.

The truth was, Aditya was technically doing everything was keeping an eye on his grandpa's company. From a distance. Even though he has his own business to run, which, unlike this sinking ship, was doing just fine. Sure, he had started his career with Grandpa's company, but then he decided to make his name. And he did. And then Grandpa was like, "Hey, could you take over the family business because, well, your Uncle can't manage a lemonade stand, let alone an empire?" Because He can't lose Aditya. He was important... For Him, For His decades built Business.

"Aditya! Do you even understand what you've done?" Harivansh's voice was sharp, cutting through the tense silence of the room. His eyes burned with frustration as he stepped forward, hands clenched at his sides. "The company has faced a 500 CRORE loss! Five. Hundred. Crores! Can you even imagine how huge that number is? How could you be so careless?"

His voice wavered slightly, the weight of the situation sinking in. "Under your supervision, we never faced any loss, not a single time. You were always in control, everything was stable. But now-this? What happened? Where is your focus? Is that because of that girl? You said you don't believe me!"

Aditya remained silent for a moment, his expression unreadable. He was furious, He wanted to shout at him and if He wasn't an old man then he might have already unleashed his anger, maybe even knocked him down a peg or two. But Aditya held back, gripping the edge of his desk tightly, grounding himself. The old man had no idea Aditya had shifted his business operations here to be closer to his daughter and the woman he loved.

"I am no more looking after your Business, Grandpa" His voice was firm. Harivansh almost choked in the air, Listening to his words.

WHAT?

NO WAY!!

"Stop Joking around, Aditya! You know You can't! I am serious!" He told him, inside he was panicking. Aditya was a golden key to success for his company. No way he will let him leave.

"I am serious, My Business needs my attention, I can't ignore what's mine for you" He replied. Looking at the seriousness on his face, Harivansh said

"The company is also yours, our family's legacy, respect, name everything! You can't just leave it like this. Your father worked hard on this business. If not for me, then take over for him." Harivansh tried the same tactic, his voice dropping an octave. Aditya could see the tension building inside him, he was panicking, knowing Things could go really wrong.

"That was my father, If He had done something doesn't mean I will continue it! Mistakes are meant to be corrected, not repeated! And If You really care about your Business then why don't You give it to Naina? She has the capability" He told him.

"Aditya!!! Women in our house don't work! You know that very well!" Harivansh stopped him. He knows it triggered him. He has always had the same mentality, That's why He never liked Aditya's Mom and Dad because his Mom used to work and his dad supported her. This is the reason they moved to the US far away from the toxic environment.

"Business doesn't work with this mentality! I was looking for your business for my Dad's reputation! Now, Keep thinking like this and If you can't run your business alone without my help then shut the gates of the company!" Aditya's words were very Harsh. Harivansh only tolerates his behaviour because his business needs him or else he would have taught him a lesson, But little bit he know that this time Aditya is stronger than before, No tricks of him, no manipulation would work on him. He knew they would lose shareholders, Business Partners, Deals, everything if Aditya backed off. He was the only reason they invested in the company.
