"Are You Planning to Name that land on Your daughter!"

As Shivalika heard Aditya her steps halted, she stood there without any movement, She was too shocked to comprehend anything.

How did he get to know about her?

She started panicking but didn't show it on her face, She was literally sweating.

Slowly she turned to him as if she got exposed. She looked at him and found him already looking at her with a neutral face, Even though his face was neutral but still, his eyes conveyed many emotions.

"W- What are you talking about?" She hesitated.

"You heard me right, Ms Chauhan. You remember your daughter right? Or did you forget her like the land? And if you remember then As a parent of course you want that land to be your daughter's"

"What was her name? Umm Vartika Shivalika Chauhan, right? But let me remind you of the clause which said, this property could only be in the name of Aditya Agnihotri, Shivalika Chauhan and...And Vartika is neither Aditya nor Shivalika!"

Aditya told her, his heart panged, he never thought that he would say this to her, He wanted to know who is Vartika's father but he didn't want to question her character because he knew this thing would eventually go there, He was confirmed he is not her father and how he can be? It was practically impossible.

Shivalika was speechless, How could this be possible? All of sudden she looked at him with hatred, Even the way her daughter's name rolled on his tongue was making her angry, She didn't like it, She didn't like that he knew about her daughter, She was insecure even though Vartika was only her daughter, But Aditya knowing about Vartika's presence was scaring her.

What if he hurt her?

What if he blackmailed her?

She knows he can do anything to get her signature, She may look unaffected right now but her heart was thumping loudly, she was nervous, her blood was boiling.

"Mind your business Aditya, Don't involve my daughter!" She warned him.

"I haven't involved your daughter yet, Ms Chauhan"

"You better not! Or else you will see the worst side of me!"

"You have more worst side?" Aditya asked looking at her from head to toe, Shivalika frowned

"The Shivalika I knew was not like this, Old Shivalika would express herself, She was soft, sweet not like this, old Shivalika would have thought twice before speaking, she would think about other's needs first"

The frown vanished as she heard him, her eyes softened, He was right! Old Shivi would have done all this.

Taking a step closer to him she said.

"I'm a lawyer, Mr Agnihotri, And a good lawyer who hasn't lost a single case can't survive with these qualities" She shook her head.

Aditya slightly tilted his head and looked into her eyes directly.

"Itni achi Vakeel ho kar bhi woh Vakalat toh haar gai thi aap" Her heart skipped a beat when he said that.

He was right though.

"Use haar kar hi toh baki Vakalatain Jeet paayi hun" She replied without breaking the eye contact, Her heart heavied up, She was not liking it, All she knew was that She has to go from here, if she stayed here for one more second then she will be not responsible for what will happen next.
