"You are such a low-esteem woman," he sneered, jabbing a finger at her, He didn't realise when he came so close to her.
Shivalika stared at him, incredulous.
"How dare you call me that? I am not!" She huffed.
"Oh, but you are! You never accept your mistakes, not now, not ever!" His voice dripped with accusations as he glared back at her.
"Stop saying that, or else!" She warned, her voice trembling with suppressed fury.
"Or else what? Did Madam get offended? Truth is always bitter," he retorted, flashing a tight-lipped smile.
"Don't push me!" she snapped, unable to contain her rage any longer.
She pulled out the most unexpected stunt which shocked the sh*t out of him.
She punched him in the stomach.
"Ouch!" he groaned, doubling over in pain.
"Now that's what I call high esteem," she declared, her voice laced with a hint of superiority.
With a smug smile, she turned to leave. But before she could take another step, she felt a strong tug on her arm, pulling her back. Shivalika found herself crashing into Aditya's chest, not going to lie her mind started imagining his abs when she crashed into his hard chest.
Before she could protest or free herself from his hold, he swiftly pinned her hands behind her back with one hand, holding her firmly.
"Aditya!" she exclaimed, struggling against his grip, her eyes widened with shock.
Instead of releasing her, he pulled her closer, his chest pressing against hers. She looked up at him, trying to gauge his reaction.
"Well, well, looks like someone's got some fire in them after all," he remarked, a bewildered look mingled with a hint of admiration in his eyes for her audacity.
"Stop manhandling me!" she demanded.
"I haven't even started," he murmured, his breath brushing against her ear. "If I start, you won't be able to stop me."
He whispered the last line near her ear. His lips touched her skin for a second only to make her knees weak, Closing her eyes she gulped hard and again looked directly into his grey orbs. His words sent a shiver down her spine. She closed her eyes momentarily, trying to regain her composure, but when she opened them, she met his intense gaze.
"I will wipe that smirk off your face," she threatened him
"I can wipe something else," he replied huskily, his eyes dropping to her lips, making her heart race uncontrollably.
Their eyes locked, a spark igniting between them. She felt herself drawn to him despite her anger and confusion.
"You're still so feisty, but baby, you can't win against me physically," he teased, his smirk growing wider.
The unintended baby word made her heart skip a beat. Something about his proximity and the intensity in his eyes stirred emotions she couldn't quite define. She inhaled a sharp breath when he called her baby, of course, that was unintentional, she knew. But something made her heart beat raced up.
Before Shivalika could retort back, They heard a knock on the door, Silence filled the room as they both shared a look with wide eyes.
"Who is it?" She asked him.
"My Wife!" He replied in sarcasm.
"You are married?" She almost screamed.
"Are You dumb? Oh- Of course you are! How would I know who is knocking?" He glared at her as he looked so done with her.
