"No! I want it here also!" Aditya's voice echoed through the spacious penthouse.

Samir, raised an eyebrow, confused. "But, sir, you asked to put all the toys in her room."

Aditya turned his expression a mix of determination and mild frustration. "Yeah, I did. But what if Vartika wants to play in the living room instead of her room? I need all her toys here too! Everything should be accessible no matter where she is!"

Samir sighed internally, trying to maintain his calm demeanour. His boss had been relentless all morning, scrutinising every corner and detail as if preparing for royalty. Aditya was making sure nothing short of perfection would suffice. Samir had charged the renovation of the entire penthouse transforming it into a Wonderland.

The walls of Vartika's room were adorned with colourful murals, shelves overflowed with toys, and the floors were scattered with plush carpets.

And yet, despite all this, Aditya was still dissatisfied. Samir stole a glance at the living room, which was beginning to resemble a toy store more than an elegant space in an upscale penthouse. Boxes of toys lay open, with stuffed animals, building blocks, and miniature cars spilling out.

"You do realize, sir," Samir ventured cautiously, "that the house is already overflowing with toys. It's practically a child's paradise!"

Aditya shot him a duh look "Not overflowing. It's called being Prepared. I want her to feel at home the moment she walks in. My daughter deserves it."

Samir looked around, shaking his head slightly. He had never seen someone work so hard to make sure every inch of the house was perfect for a child. Well how will he know? Neither he has a child nor the one who will bear his child.

Sorry Samir...

He knew arguing with Aditya was pointless. When it came to his daughter, there were no half-measures. But in all of that it was him who was running around, not like he was complaining.

"Alright, sir," Samir replied, "I'll make sure there are toys in every room, every corner..." Then, with a spark of mocking, he added, "Should I also add toys in the bathroom?"

Aditya paused mid-step, and then his eyes lit up with sudden excitement as if Samir had just uncovered a hidden gem.

"Not a bad idea, Mr Khan!" He was impressed, almost making Samir's jaw drop. He looked at him in horror. He shouldn't have said that. But now he was mentally preparing to place rubber ducks, toy boats, and who knew what else in the bathtub.

"You are a genius! That's why you are my secretary! Add some in her bathroom! She will love it!" Aditya smiled in satisfaction. His eyes scanned the room as if mentally calculating if he had missed anything. After a beat, he nodded.

"And make sure the living room is cosy. We'll be spending a lot of time here. I want Vartika to feel like this is her second playground."

Samir sighed softly, thinking of how he had already turned the space into a child's dream but nodded anyway. "I'll get it done."

"And Yes..." Samir's whole body instantly jerked at Aditya, his full attention on him.

"Did You bring all those things I asked for?"

"I brought everything, Sir! If you want you can check the kitchen. We have every kind of, and all the types of flavour in ice creams in the fridge!" He told him.

Aditya nodded and went to check the kitchen, while Samir sighed, mentally preparing himself for whatever else his boss might demand. If he's acting like this now, what's going to happen when she will actually arrive? He thought to himself.
