"Lucilia, may I speak with you for a moment? Alone?" Gaia asked, her smile twitching as I could almost see the smoke coming out of her ears.
Lucilia, on the other hand, was rather calm and amused at Gaia's reaction, "I'm sorry, Gaia, I truly am, but I will have to decline your offer."
At this point, I was just confused, and so were Angeline and Mallory. It was obvious that Lucilia wanted something in return, and judging by her actions, it seemed like it was something related to Gaia, or the three of us. I was having none of it, and neither was Mallory, but we couldn't really do anything about it since Lucilia had the advantage over us. Technically, if she wanted to, she could use that information to manipulate or even control us. Fortunately, although Lucilia was quite unpredictable, I knew she wasn't evil enough to actually use the information against us, especially since her girlfriend was literally the former queen of angels.
"It's nothing to be angry about, Gaia, think of this as my compensation." Lucilia's words reminded me of when Lucifer asked for Stefan's head, in exchange for everything he told us. Like sister, like brother.
Angeline gave a worried look at her girlfriend and asked, "Luci, what are you saying? They're our friends, we must not torment them like this." She placed her hand over her girlfriend's and gave it a light squeeze.
"Relax, darling, this is no torment. I'm merely helping a friend out." Lucilia answered, snickering as her eyes set their sights on Gaia.
Having enough of whatever game Lucilia was playing, I decided to take the initiative. "Alright, Lucilia, what is it that you want? Speak and I'll give it to you, as long as it's within my power."
If it was money, title, or land, I could give all of those to her since I was royalty, and if she wanted other things, I suppose I could give those to her as well, as long as my magic allows it. However, I already knew that neither money, title, nor land were what Lucilia wanted. She wanted Gaia to do something, say something, admit something, just Gaia, since she wouldn't stop glancing at her. I still couldn't tell what she specifically wanted, but I figured nothing would happen if nobody directly asked her about it, especially since Gaia seemed to be against doing Lucilia a favor.
"I'm glad you asked, little witch." Lucilia stated, smirking as she leaned against her chair and continued, "I only want Gaia to reveal her other secret, whatever it may be."
Gaia scoffed, "Whatever it may be? I explicitly told you everything and now you're using it against me."
"Don't be all sensitive, Gaia."
"This isn't the right time for that, you asshole. They're not ready, I'm positive Mal is not familiar with that, and little one is definitely not ready for anything like that so just drop it." Gaia snapped, her silver orbs almost glowing as she glared at her friend.
"What am I not familiar with?" Mallory asked, raising a brow.
I nodded, "Yeah, what exactly am I not ready for?"
Lucilia laughed whilst Gaia groaned in annoyance. I'll admit, it was a nice change of pace to see Gaia in a different mood. She's always so playful, and mischievous that it almost felt foreign to witness her act so annoyed and irritated. I was going to say that only Lucilia can annoy Gaia like that, but I knew I could push her buttons even more, I just didn't have any reason to.
"Luci, what are you two talking about?" Angeline chimed in, her lips formed into a pout as she worriedly glanced between Lucilia and Gaia.
Hearing Angeline's question, Lucilia calmed down after laughing and then answered her worried girlfriend, "You know this very well, darling. In fact, we've done it many times before."
