We have just arrived in my kingdom and I was a bit nervous about Gaia being here. Since I made all that fuss that I wasn't going to search for her anymore, I didn't want Harvy to see me with her as he would probably tease me and call me weak which would be really embarrassing. Another important person that Gaia and I must avoid was Sapphire. Obviously, since Sapphire was my sister's mate, bumping into her would be a huge problem. First, I'm pretty sure she wouldn't know how to react if she sees Gaia and I. Second, and the one thing that should not happen was that she may alert Weiss that I'm with my mate. Sapphire's loyalty will always be on her mate's side so I knew she wouldn't hesitate to snitch.
Which also brings me to the most important person that we must avoid at all times.. my older sister, Weiss. I knew Weiss was still angry at Gaia for abandoning me and I'm sure no explanation would be enough to rid of her fury so it's best if we avoid her. I did not want to see Gaia and Weiss fight because I'm pretty sure that's what would happen if they saw each other. If they fought, I'd be stuck in the middle and would, probably, be forced to do something I don't want to so I fucking hope we don't bump into Weiss.
Before Gaia started walking, I put my hand on her shoulder to stop her. "Gaia, listen to me, now that we're in my family's kingdom, we must do everything we can to avoid Weiss."
She raised a brow at me, "Why? That seems a bit unnecessary, and quite frankly, a bit inconvenient. She is, after all, the queen of this kingdom."
"No, you don't get it." I shook my head and pulled her closer to me as I whispered, "Weiss does not look at you fondly. She'll probably start a fight with you once she lays her eyes on you, and that is what we must avoid. Do you understand?"
She smirked, "I'm afraid not, your delicious body was hindering my brain from understanding your statement." Confused, I furrowed my brows and noticed her looking down at me. I followed her gaze and saw that my cleavage was gladly introducing herself to Gaia's watchful eyes. Great, we're both perverts!
I blushed and pushed her away, "Fuck off!"
She chuckled, "Alright, alright, and yes, I did understand your point earlier." I sighed in relief when she said that.
"But just to be extra careful, I will cast a cloaking spell on both of us, I only hope it's enough to mask our energies from Weiss." I took a deep breath and gathered my magic before muttering the spell, "Krýpste mas parousía sas."
"Oh, this feels.. quite odd." She commented.
I rolled my eyes, "It's not supposed to feel good and it will only serve as a precaution. My people won't be able to see us so we're good to go."
She nodded and gestured for me to go first. Thus, I walked past her and began making my way to our dungeons. It wasn't a long walk as Gaia and I were only a few minutes away from our destination. But at the same time, it felt like we were walking for ages with no one daring to utter a single word. I didn't want to make the first move so I kept my mouth shut and continued on our path. I avoided everyone in my way with ease until we finally managed to reach the dungeons.
As expected, there were five guards surrounding the entrance. Since they could not see us, I thought it would be easier to just slip past them but surely they would notice the gates opening? Our guards were always on alert and would notice every little thing thus going in whilst invisible may only raise suspicion.
"Well? What are we waiting for?" Without responding, I grabbed Gaia's hand and led her towards the back of the building in front of the dungeons.
"We can't go in there while we're- why in the world are you so smug?" I asked, annoyance clear in my tone.
