The witch and wizards kingdom, or my home, was one of the largest kingdom there was. With a population of millions, our kind kept growing and growing over the decades, and so, our territory kept getting larger and larger. This meant that we had our work cut out for us but this didn't affect me at all. As the princess and well, a knight, one of my duties was to scout the whole kingdom at night. Thus, I've memorized the kingdom like the back of my hand. Sure, I didn't have the ability to sense when the kingdom is in a crisis like my sister, but I've scouted the kingdom for so many times now that I knew where everything was. Having a large territory didn't mean I would have a hard time, it just meant I knew where to start searching.
My idea was to focus on the source of magic. Since my kind was considered the most dominant magic users, this meant our kingdom was filled with nature, and I suspected Madrona would use this to her advantage. If she knew the kingdom as well as I did, she'd position their base in a place where the magic source was most powerful and that was obviously in the forest. Furthermore, being in the woods meant being secluded and hidden from society and the busy streets of our capital city where the castle, my home, resided.
Mallory and I will search for the base in the forest first. As we look around, I will be using magic to sense the base. If I find any place that has an unusual amount of magic in it, that would instantly be considered suspicious, and it would prompt Mallory and I to investigate it. However, besides an unusual amount of magic, I could also sense when there is another kind nearby. Although each kind was in a treaty with each other, everyone would still require permission to enter another supernatural's kingdom, thus, anyone who enters my home without permission can easily be one of Stefan's men. I also had more plans to find that base but these were the easiest ones.
If the base wasn't in the forest then the second best location would be up in the north district, where the witches and wizards are the most quiet and introverted, where everyone minded their own business. There was also quite the magic source there, although it wasn't as powerful as the forest, I suspected it would be enough magic to hide a base.
The third location with the most magic sources would be the academy where I taught my students whom I've neglected. I'm sure Weiss has hired a different instructor for them... Anyways, the academy seemed unlikely for Stefan and Madrona since this was near the castle, but it was worth considering.
Of course the castle would be where the most magic resided, other than the forest, but this was obviously not an achievable option for those idiots. Weiss would sense it immediately if the base was in her castle, after all, the castle was connected physically and mentally to whoever was ruler. This didn't apply to the other members or member, in this case, of the royal family thus only Weiss had this ability. Though, I wasn't sure if Sapphire would acquire this if she were to be crowned queen, since she was a vampire.
At any rate, I had my course of action all planned out, and just in case, I also had plenty of backups. I was ready, and I was determined, finding this base will be done today. Then Gaia can quickly follow the moon goddess, and return back to Mallory and I in a speed of light so we can finally live our lives together without any more problems or obstacles.
As we entered my sister's office, we were quickly met with Vaye, Sapphire, and of course, my dearest sister. I approached Weiss and shared a quick hug with her before pulling away and greeting the vampires.
"Nice of you lot to finally show up." Vaye commented, chuckling.
I shrugged, "It wasn't my fault."
Sapphire grinned as her eyes twinkled with amusement, "Sure, let's all think you guys weren't busy fucking, and that's not the reason you were late."
Gaia laughed, "Oh, how I wish!"
"Shut up, I do not need to hear about this, and I certainly do not want to know why you're wearing a ridiculously large choker, Willow." Weiss stated, her green eyes narrowing at the choker on my neck.
