Heyy guys this part's a bit earlier than usual, I hope you all don't mind too much!
This is a request and you and Matt aren't dating in this one!
Just to let you all know, none of my imagines are platonic, all romantic!

"So... do I have any more customers for the day?" You asked your boss as you put your equipment away.
You were in your 2nd year of working as a tattoo artist and you couldn't love the job anymore, the specific skill of covering somebody with your art, watching them as they looked down at their tattoos fondly, walking out of the store with a smile.

"Umm... yeah" your boss replied as he checked the computer, "Matt Sturniolo, 4PM" He chuckled.
"What?" You asked.
"Nothing it's just on the phone he was really specific that he wanted you to do it." You hid your face from him as a small blush appeared on your face.
You knew you shouldn't because Matt was a client, but you had began to fall for him ever since you gave him his first tattoo which also happened to be your first job.

Everybody coming into the shop had went to the other artists, not giving you a chance.
However, he walked in with a smile and didn't hesitate sitting at your work space despite your lack of experience.
"You ok, y/n?" Your boss asked, you nodded at the man, "yeah just zoned out"
You quickly made your way over to the bathroom to freshen up a little bit, checking your watch to find it was 3:51PM meaning that you had nine minutes until he arrived.

Satisfied with your makeup, you sat back down, acting nonchalant as he walked in, playing on your phone.
"Oh hi Matt!" You smiled at him as you placed your phone in your pocket, getting off of the chair and gesturing to him to take the spot.
"You here for another one?" As you got your equipment out.
His face went red, "what- what do you mean another one?" he chuckled nervously.

"Nothing you've just been here a lot" he faced down, looking embarrassed, "but I don't mind, you're one of my favourite customers" you both smiled at each other.
"You're my favourite tattoo artist, I don't trust anyone else with it" you felt flattered as you tried to shake it off, "anyways, what do you want doing today?"

As it went on you couldn't help but notice how close you two were and you never realised before how intimate you tattooing him was, holding his arm, etching little patterns into it, looking up at him every couple of minutes to find him staring not at his arm, but you.
"Sorry" Matt laughed nervously after you caught him looking at you for a little longer than usual.
"No it's okay" you smiled at him as you wrapped up his arm, finishing his tattoo after 1 hour or so.

"Thanks" he got his money out before passing you $15 extra, "you didn't have to" you said as you took it from his hand appreciatively.
"No i did, this might be my favourite one yet"
You rolled your eyes playfully, "you say that every time".
"Yeah..." he looked at you for about ten seconds before continuing, "y/n, can I tell you something?"
You nodded at him before you both walked out, sitting on the steps, "I love tattoos but I would have about half of the amount of them if it wasn't for you"
"What do you mean?"
"What I'm trying to say is that I started getting them just to see you" you giggled, Matt instantly noticing, "what?"
"Nothing" you smiled, "it's just you could've just asked for my number or something"

"I know, its stupid I was just too scared to, I mean, you're so pretty, funny and talented" he lifted up his arm, gesturing to the tattoos that laid on it.
"Matt" he instantly looked into your eyes as you put your hand on his arm, "I like you too" you both smiled at each other before he moved his hand up to your cheek, pulling you into a kiss which lasted for nearly a minute until you both realised that you were sat outside of your work place.
You both blushed as you exchanged numbers, promising to make plans soon.
