"He hasn't replied to my message." Lara said as Rosa let her into her apartment.

She didn't want to tell Rosa what she did last night, how she went to Ferran again. She wanted nothing more than to forget it herself. She'd give anything to go back and not let it happen.

"Yeah, sorry, I'm gonna need some context." the brunette said.

"Pedri." Lara said. "We were texing yesterday and it was all fine and then suddenly he said he had to go because he was at Ferran's house with some of his teammates and then I texted him back and he hasn't replied since. I texted him a little later as well and nothing." Lara said. "It's been like twenty hours."

"Maybe he's busy?" Rosa said.

"For twenty hours?" Lara asked. "I don't think so. He posted on his story as well, does he think I'm stupid?"

"Ouch."

"Thanks." Lara scoffed.

"Okay, I'm sorry." Rosa said. "Maybe they didn't go through?"

"No, they definitely did." Lara said, checking her phone. "I don't know why he would ignore me."

Rosa shrugged as she looked at her packed suitcase.

"Fuck." she heard Lara say and she turned to her. "Oh no."

"What?" Rosa asked. "What's wrong?"

"Fuck, fuck, fuck!" she exclaimed. "I left my earrings last time when I went to Ferran. You know, the ones I always wear and he told me he'd keep them safe for me until I could come over to get them, I have them now, I went for them yesterday but I only went after the others had left. Pedri complimented them the other day, yesterday he said he was at Ferran's house. What if he saw them there and put two and two together? Shit, Rosa, I might have just fucked up big time."

"You're okay, it's fine." she said, placing her hands on her best friend's shoulders. "He definitely didn't. I'm telling you, he's not ignoring you, there must be a reason behind this, don't stress about it. Focus on our trip, it's gonna be really nice to get your mind off of everything. Besides, you said you were over him, so what if he sees it? He can't stop you from sleeping with Ferran, you aren't together, why would he get mad?"

"Because he's his best friend." Lara said. "And I'm his ex-girlfriend."

"You know," Rosa started. "I don't really understand this whole ex thing. I only have one and, well, I don't even know if he really is my ex because I can't tell if we ever even dated."

"No, I'd say that was definitely a relationship." Lara pointed out. "Short, but it was something."

"You know, you need to forget about this." Rosa said. "Besides, he should be more angry at Ferran for sleeping with you and not you sleeping with him. His best friend slept with his ex, now that is something."

"We need to leave." Lara ignored her last sentence. "You're all packed?"

"Yup." Rosa smiled widely, walking up to her suitcase.

They left Rosa's apartment, making their way down to where Lara had parked her car. It wasn't a very long drive to the airport and before they knew it, they were already greeting the others, making their way into the airport.

They went through the check ins and walked to their gate after stopping at the shops for a while. Lara didn't speak much, keeping to herself and checking her phone almost obsessively every few minutes.

"What's up with her?" Lorenzo whispered to Rosa as he nodded with his head to Lara who sat on the seats opposite them.

"What isn't?" Rosa whispered back, making Lorenzo chuckle.
