I heard a knock on my door and immediately got up, a feeling of solace filling me, knowing exactly who that knock belonged to.

I almost ran to the front door, unlocking it quickly as I opened it. I saw him and he immediately smiled at me widely, me reciprocating it.

I took his hands, pulling him into my apartment as I joined our lips in a kiss. He put his hand on my lower back, the other gently holding my chin as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

It had only been a few hours since we had seen each other but I already missed him. Everything about him. Not only the feeling of his skin against mine or his lips on mine but also his laughter, his smile, his comforting smell, his eyes.

Everything about him made me go wild and I wasn't mad about it.

His mere presence filled me with a sense of excitement and unconditional love. I loved every time our eyes met. If only I could look into those big, brown eyes twenty four seven, I would. I swear to you, I'd do it happily.

We pull away and he laughs at me.

"And you said I was needy and clingy?" he says and laughs at my eye roll.

"Don't blame me." I say, smiling at him. "It's hard to be away from you."

"And vice versa." he says as we let go of each other.

"Are you hungry?" I ask him as we make our way to my living room joined with the kitchen, the late afternoon setting sun flooding the whole room in a orange hue through the tall windows. "Rosa made empanadas and told me to take some home but I can't finish them all myself. I'm not taking no for an answer, by the way."

He laughs at my comment as he follows me to the kitchen island, taking a seat beside me as I sit cross-legged on the stool, turning to face him.

"How was your day?" I ask as I take one final empanada into my fingers, him doing the same.

"It was okay." he nodded, leaning his head against his hand as he looked at me. "Training was a bunch of men bullying me, especially Ferran, what's new?"

I laughed at his comment as he took a bite of the empanada and his eyebrows rose. "They're good, aren't they?" I ask, smirking.

"I'm sorry but I don't remember Rosa being such a good cook." he says and I laugh.

"She's been taking cooking classes." I say.

"Actually?" he asks me and I nod.

"She says she needs to learn how to cook for her future husband." I say. "She's obviously joking, you know her."

"Fortunately or unfortunately I'm not sure, but I do know her." he says and I laugh. "How was your day?"

"Tiring." I say and he frowns. "A lot of prep for the fashion show, stress, loudness, you get it."
