"I've been meaning to give you something actually." Pedri says as we finally get up after having lied in bed for a good half an hour after we actually woke up.

"What?" I ask as I turn to him.

He goes to open a drawer and pulls something out before turning to me. "A key to this place. So now when you come over, you can just come in yourself. Or you can come whenever you want. Bonus points if it's to make your amazing empanadas for me." He jokes and I laugh.

"I'll think about that last one." I laugh, going up to him and kissing him. "Thank you, though, for trusting me with this."

He hands them to me and I see there's a little bird keyring attached and smile as I take them from him.

"Of course I trust you. I trust you with everything I own, Lari." He says. "Even my life."

"That's a lot." I say and he laughs.

"I suppose." He shrugs. "That one is for the front door, this one for the gate, this one for the garage so you can park your car as well and this one is for the back door in case it's ever needed."

"The keyring is nice." I smile as I look down at it, fiddling with it in my hand.

"Picked it out especially for your keys." He says and then walks to the trousers he wore yesterday. He reaches into one of the pockets and takes out his own set of keys. He walks up to me and shows them to me. "And mine too."

The same exact bird keyring that is attached my set of keys is attached to his.

I smile at him and kiss him again. "You're cute."

"They're pretty keyrings." He says and I nod.

"Absolutely they are." I smile. "I want to give you a set of my keys too. But those are at home so I'll give them to you the next time you come over. I've been thinking about this too, you know?"

"Oh, yeah?" He asks as I walk to grab one of my tops that I keep at his place and a pair of shorts.

"You could say we think alike." I smile at him as I put on the shorts.

"What was the saying?" He asks, thinking. "Ah, great minds think alike."

"Great minds." I laugh, putting on my top.

"Why, is it not great minds?" He asks.

"No, it is." I nod. "It's just funny."

"Is my mind not great?" He asks as he goes to his closet and takes out a pair of shorts and a shirt.

"It definitely is." I nod. "What are you thinking for breakfast?"

"My mother's croquettes." Pedri jokes and we laugh.

"For lunch, I'd eat all that she makes." I say. "Hell, I'd even have them in the middle of the night."

"Midnight snack." He points out as he leaves the closet and I nod. "I was actually thinking maybe toast though. I'm feeling lazy after lying here for so long."

"Fair." I point out as he puts on his shorts after his shirt and then we go to his bathroom. "Do you still have that thing?"

"That's really damn specific, Lara." He says as he grabs a towel.

"You know, that thing." I say, moving my hands.

"Be more vague, Lara, please." He says sarcastically and I sigh.

"For your face." I say. "It lights up and stuff."

"Oh, no, Fer stole that." He frowns. "If he wanted it so bad, he could've bought it himself."
