Pagkarating namin sa library ay bumungad sa amin ang Dolce na natutulog habang naka straight body at nasa hita ang dalawang kamay.
“Paano ’yan? Natutulog siya.” bulong ni Rich.
“Ang cute niya ’no?” dagdag nito.
Hindi namin siya pinansin.
Pero nagulat kami ng dumilat ito na parang wala lang.
Diretso ito ng tayo at pumunta sa mahabang table. Sumunod naman kami.
Inilagay ni Kai ang box malapit sa kinauupuan ni Yumeko.
“Ito pala yung box.” sabi ko at itinuro ’yon.
Kinuha ito ni Yumeko at binasa ang sticky notes na inilagay na lamang namin sa gilid na banda.
Hinawakan nito ang box at binuksan.
“Give me a paper.” binigyan namin agad ito ng papel at kinuha niya ang ballpen na nakasabit sa blouse niya.
“This paper cointains—” naputol ang sasabihin niya ng magsalita si Din.
“Pwede mag tagalog ka na lang h-hehe, hindi ko kasi maintindihan.” kinakabahan na sabi nito kaya napabuntong hininga si Dolce.
“Itong nakikita niyong mga nakasulat, kailangan natin malaman kung ano ang mga sagot dito.” sabi nito at binasa isa-isa.
Bawat basa niya ay may mga sinusulat siyang salita sa papel.
“Tignan niyo itong takip, there’s a papers that we can use as a clue or what. Hindi ’yan ilalagay if it’s useless, or maybe to confuse us.” palwanag nito.
Oo nga no? Bakit nga ba ilalagay ’yun kung wala namang sense or pampalito.
“Who can read it loudly?” I volunteered at binigay sa akin nito ang mga papel na nasa takip.
“A killer’s first victim, I’m the number so bold.

“I’m the number of murders, in a killer’s deadly spree.

“These are stupid riddles.” tinuro nito ang mga papel.
“A killer’s first victim, I’m the number so bold. A single life taken, a story to be told. The answer is One.” sabi nito at sinulat ang kanyang sagot sa isang papel.
“A deadly shot fired, I’m the number of the round. A single bullet, that brings a life down. The answer is one again.” sinulat niya muli ang kanyang sagot.
“I’m the number of murders, in a killer’s deadly spree. A triple homicide, that shocked humanity. The answer is three, strange but the riddle’s are asking for number and the answers are numbers.” sinulat niya muli ang kanyang sagot.
“Find the root of the tree, combine it with the number before and after the zero, choose the right path and you’ll see. This doesn’t make any sense.” she said while thinking deeply.
