Ruhanika
To say I was nervous would be an understatement. Nishant Bhai was standing there looking at the scene with angry eyes. I had never seen him this angry. He was rumoured to be cold, but he had never been captured angry. I didn't really know what to expect. I certainly didn't intend to cause this mess. I don't even know who this man is but he sure looks like someone important.
Looks like, I am in for a good scolding. I am sure after this, Bhai will never take me out with him again. I should have just stayed at home!
Nishant Bhai came forward and stood beside me. I closed my eyes in fear and waited to get scolded. But, he surprised me by putting his hand on my shoulder in a comforting way. I opened my eyes and noticed that he was glaring at that man harshly. I winced thinking about what if that glare was directed towards me.
His voice boomed loudly over the chatter of the people who had gathered to watch the show. "ALL OF YOU, GO BACK TO YOUR RESPECTIVE WORKS! " Don't these people have any work to do or do they just like to have free entertainment?
Bhai then looked towards the man after ensuring that each and every person watching the free show had dispersed. I didn't know what to expect. At first, I was scared that he might scold me but he did not and it certainly doesn't look like he is going to scold me anytime soon. Instead, he looks angry at the man.
Bhai then says calmly, "Mr. Rawal, may I please get to know, why exactly were you shouting at my sister?"
The man then replies arrogantly, "Oh! So this girl is your sister Mr Agnihotri. Well, needless to say, but you need to control your sister. She is too wild. She threw her juice on me. I am very sure that she must have done it intentionally. I daily come across people like her who try to catch my attention by doing silly things. Mr. Agnihotri, news travels fast. Everyone knows that she was not living with you till now. Who knows what kind of a person she is? You must not trust her this early. "
His words made me feel humiliated. I looked down in an attempt to hide my vulnerable state from this man. I felt Bhai rub my back soothingly. I looked at him trying to decipher his emotions. Does he really believe in the words of that man? His eyes were blazing.
"I don't need to know who I need to trust and who I don't from a man like you. Sure my sister didn't live with us until now but I am sure that she has much more manners than a man like you will ever have!" His words soothed my heart. Never in my life before, have I seen anyone taking such a strong stand for me apart from my friends. But these people who I met just a few days ago leave no stone unturned in making me feel cherished.
The man, who I now know is known as Mr Rawal says in anger, "Mr. Agnihotri, mind your words. I am the director of this shoot. I can very well replace you. You don't want me as an enemy just because of a little girl!"
He is the director! I remember Isha Di saying that Bhai needs this Director to be more successful. I have spoiled everything just because of my clumsiness!
To my surprise, Bhai retorts almost mockingly, "Mr. Rawal, do you really think that I need your support? In fact, beware of your surroundings from now on. You never know what might happen to you. After all, you disrespected the only princess of Agnihotris, of Jodhpur." I saw the director's face pale at my brother's statement making me curious. What does he mean?
Bhai then ushered me out of there. He made a quick call to what I assume was Isha Di and informed her that we were leaving promising to explain everything later. We then sat inside the car left.

The car ride was filled with an uncomfortable silence that was broken by Nishant Bhai's voice, "Pequeno bebê, speak something, why are you so silent?"
Hearing his words diverted my mind from misery and I remembered that I was going to ask him about what the nickname meant. "Bhai, why do you call me that?" He looked at me and asked, "Call you what? Pequeno bebê?"
"Yes Bhai, what does it mean? "
"Pequeno bebê is the Spanish translation of little baby and I call you that because earlier, before Abhi was born, you were the youngest and practically the baby of the family. I have been calling you that ever since you were born and I guess it just stuck with me."
Oh wow! Never in my life apart from my friends has anyone called me with such cute nicknames that my family has for me.
"But Bhai, how did you know what it is called in Spanish?"
"I have been acting ever since I was very young, so I had to travel to different parts of the world. In order to make my stay more comfortable, I used to try and learn their language so that I can communicate with natives more easily."
I giggle slightly and then pull my brother's cheeks laughing a little and said, "Looks like my brother is very smart." He looks at me with an exasperated face and then huffs. He then turned serious and looked at me with a stern gaze.
"Now Pequeno bebê, I am sure that Dad would have wanted to teach you somethings but I guess he wanted to give you some time before saying those things. That man is practically a softy for you and I know that he won't be telling you these things anytime soon. So, I am going to say something and you need to listen to me very carefully."
I nodded slightly scared about what he was going to say.
He continued, "You, Ruhi are now a part of royal family. You are the princess of Jodhpur. I don't care how you have lived till now but there are certain things that you need to adopt. First of all, always keep your head high. Your crown should never fall. Second, never let anyone disrespect you just like that man disrespected you. Third, if someone is saying mean things to you, then learn to stand aging them and give them a befitting reply so that their mouths are shut and don't worry about consequences. Never forget that your family will always support you and they are there to take care of any mess you made. Last but not the least, always remember, Family above all."
I tried to take in his words. They made me feel overwhelmed. However, they also made me happy. They gave me burst of confidence and I finally felt as if I was accepted into the family. Papa loves me and he shows it daily, Maa loves me more than my real mother ever did, Divyank Bhaiya and Arhaan Bhai don't speak much but their actions show that they love me, Nishant Bhai and Darsh Bhai have gone out of their way to make me feel loved and happy, Armaan Bhai sure is grumpy but I am sure that he will come around, my Manyu loves me a lot and my silly banters with my grandparents brings me joy.
I looked towards Nishant Bhai and nodded smiling.
Finally, I have a family.
