Chapter 17

I was not going to upload this chapter today. I was to be uploaded by Saturday night but I took a leave today because I had a high fever. So, I decided to complete this chapter today. Also the longest chapter yet, because I made you guys wait a lot. Also, this chapter is for @Its_Kpopie_777 whose words made me feel really happy! Please go on check her story too!

Ruhanika

I was woken up from the blissful sleep that I was enjoying because someone was shaking me. I opened my eyes in annoyance to see my twin brother along with the other set of twins of our family standing there. Ansh was standing there with a large grin on his face, Arhaan Bhai as usual was gazing at me silently with slightly softened eyes while Armaan Bhai looked like he wanted to be anywhere but here.

"Come on, twinny. Wake up! It's time for dinner." I realized that I had slept in the car. Nishant Bhai must have carried me here. I, despite not wanting to, woke up and sat on the bed. "Well, thanks for waking me guys, I am pretty sure I wouldn't have wanted to miss dinner." Ansh then responded with a mischievous grin on his face, "Oh, I am sure you wouldn't want to miss dinner! After all, today is a special occasion. After a very long time, Aadarsh Bhai is making dinner."

At his words, I remembered that I was slightly upset with Aadarsh Bhai since had had left me uninformed, but now that I think of it, there was no way he could have contacted me. I was not at home when he left and I don't even have any phone with which he could have contacted me. So, there is no reason for me to be upset with him now. I just nodded at Ansh's words and all of us went downstairs.

I was surprised to see everyone except Darsh Bhai sitting at the dining table. Usually, some of them behave very stubbornly and won't come down unless Maa scolded them. Whoa! This is a miracle!

"How come all of you are already present at the dinner table this early?" I asked curious. Ansh took the liberty to reply to me, "Well, twinny, Aadarsh Bhai is cooking dinner today and he cooks the world's best food, even better than Mom, so all of us are gathered here to taste the delicious food." I nod. I can relate to that statement. Good Food=Joy!

I spot Darsh Bhai coming out of the kitchen towards the dining table and behind him, maids were carrying many bowls and plates. I was astonished to see this much food. I have lived all my life in an upper middle class family and we don't usually make a variety of dishes. The maximum we do is to make 2 curries. But here, it looks like Bhai has made both Indian as well as many continental dishes.

Darsh Bhai stands behind my chair and looks towards Arhaan Bhai. Arhaan Bhai gets up and Darsh Bhai sits in his chair whereas Arhaan Bhai foes on and grabs Darsh Bhai's chair. Why are my brothers suddenly changing seating arrangements?

To my surprise, today before Ansh can serve me, Darsh Bhai does. Seeing the food on my plate, my eyes sparkle. Darsh Bhai asks me, "Do you like these dishes Sunshine?" I just hum being too engrossed in the dishes. After that during the whole dinner, Darsh Bhai didn't utter a word. Even my family members were silent which was an absolute miracle. But, I was too focused on the tasty food to even ponder about everyone being too silent.

After the dinner was over, Papa said, "Anika and Divyank, come with me to my study." I stood up and went towards Divyank Bhaiya who held out his hand in front of me to take. I silently held his hand thinking about why exactly did Papa call me in his study. Divyank Bhaiya must have noticed my frown which is why he said, "Don't worry Anika. I am sure Dad just wants to discuss something with you. Don't worry about it. Moreover, if he says something, then I will be there. " I smile at him feeling slightly reassured. How is it that my family members always know what to say to make me feel better?
