Third Person

Ruhanika looked behind her and saw Armaan standing there. His jaw was clenched and hands were fisted tightly. She felt relieved seeing her big brother standing there behind her.

Armaan was seething in rage. How dare these people talk so rudely to his sister! Their family can't even bear to raise their voices while talking to her and these pesky people! He came towards her and put his arm around his shoulder. At that moment, Ruhanika felt nothing but powerful, all the earlier nervousness fading away.

The lady that was earlier acting so haughty and superior was now trembling in fear. Never in her life did she expect that the little girl over there was indeed a member of the Agnihotri family. Many people before her have falsely claimed to be a part of influential families and she foolishly assumed that the girl over here is the same. Moreover, children from wealthy families usually have an air of arrogance surrounding them. The girl in front of her was so down-to-earth that no one could assume that she belonged to a well-to-do family, much less the Agnihotris. Apart from this, she has never heard of a girl being present in the Agnihotri family. At that moment, she wished that the earth would swallow her. It would be better than facing the wrath of Agnihotris. Apart from being the royals of Jodhpur, this was one of the most influential families in the entire world, owning a billion-dollar business and were also rumored to have ties with the Mafia.

The lady cursed her fate. On top of the fact that the girl was from the Agnihotri family, the member of the family who came with her was Armaan Agnihotri. Despite being just a teenager, he was considered to be the most impulsive and hot-headed member of the entire family. She was sure that she would not be spared alive today.

Armaan looked at the woman in front of her with dark eyes. His little sister was the treasure of their family. They treated her like a princess. Even though he may not show it openly, he loved her a lot. He was vary of her returning back to the family earlier, but that was only because he knew the dangers that each member belonging to the royal family faces. He did not want his sister to face any trouble in her life. However, ever since she has returned, he has noticed many things about her behavior that suggest that she was not living the life he assumed he was living. So, he has finally decided to embrace the feeling of having his sister near him.

His thoughts were broken by the pleadings of the woman standing in front of him. She was crying and saying, "Oh, I am so sorry, sir. I didn't know she was really a member of your family. If I knew then, I surely wouldn't have dared to talk like that to her." Armaan felt irritation seeping inside every fiber of his being. He said, annoyed but with a hint of anger in his voice, "What do you mean by you didn't know? Is this how you treat your customers? My sister was speaking calmly with you, but that doesn't mean that you will treat her like this. Now that you know that she is actually a member of my family, you are apologizing! But what if she came here alone? Wasn't it your responsibility to actually call and confirm whether she was a part of our family or not?"

The lady stuttered, "Sir..Sir ..... Th-that... act-actually I-I thought why should I dis-disturb you for such a sill-silly matter. People claim t-to be fr-from your family all the time. "
