Sorry for the late update guys. I was too busy with class 10 and also faced writer's block. I tried my best to make it long but couldn't extend it anymore, so it is only long by my standards.
Enjoy reading!

Never in my life would I have imagined such a scenario. My birth giver along with her precious daughter were standing in front of me. Just when I thought that I could finally enjoy this day with my mother, they had to spoil it. I think my birthgiver hates me with all her heart. At first, she used to ignore me and give all her time, attention, and love to her precious daughter and now that I have someone who can give me the love of a mother, she has to come and interrupt my happiness too.
I looked in front to see the beautiful sage green dress in front of me. I really liked it but knowing my birthgiver, she for sure, won't let me have it. My birthgiver and her precious daughter were still staring at me as if they had seen a ghost. Ha! They probably thought that no one would love me here and hence, there would be no reason for anyone to bring me to a mall but they don't know that I am probably the most loved person in the world right now.
Then, to my surprise, my mother actually smiled. I know my mother never intentionally ignored me. At first, it was because of the fear of society. I remember from when I was about 3 or 4 years old. She used to love both of us equally. But, then she started fearing what will society say about her being Prisha's stepmother. She then started to give her more of her love, and attention just to prove the fact that she can never differentiate between us. Eventually, she got so immersed in loving her stepdaughter that she forgot about her biological one. Prisha and I also used to be friends before but she slowly got new friends when she went to the school who belonged to richer families. We had always studied in a prestigious school because our parents wanted to maintain their status. Slowly, she started to ignore me for her friend and we drifted apart. However, their reasons don't explain their actions. Every person makes their own choices and hence is responsible for their own actions. They made me feel alienated from their family and now I don't care for their family. By god's grace, I have a family that loves me a lot.
A voice behind me interrupted my thoughts, "Excuse me miss, could you please ask your child to leave that dress, my daughter really likes it so I want to buy it for her." I looked behind to see that the voice belonged to Maa. Never in my life had anything made me happier. She called me her daughter in front of my birthgiver. This would be a very satisfactory and sweet revenge. Countless times I have imagined someone taking a stand for me in front of my birthgiver and I guess that moment has finally come. It is not that I can't take a stand for myself but it feels splendid to see that there are people who care for you and can take a stand for you.
Mrs. Senghal smiled politely, and said, "Uhmmm.. Your daughter? She is my daughter." Oh! So now she remembers that she has another daughter. At her words, Maa looked towards me with a questioning gaze. I realized that I would need to do the introductions. "Maa meet her, Mrs. Aruna Senghal, my birth giver, and Mrs. Senghal, meet my mother, Mrs. Meera Agnihotri." I felt very good after seeing the look on Mrs. Senghal's face. She must have been surprised at the way I introduced her to my mother but it's the truth, that's what she will always be- the birthgiver. Not my mother. I can proudly say that my mother is- Mrs. Meera Agnihotri.
Maa must have caught the tension between us and intervened, "Oh hello Mrs. Senghal. I thought you lived in Lucknow then how come you are here?" Mrs. Senghal smiled trying to impress my mother and said, "We decided to go on a family vacation and asked Prisha where she wanted to go. My little Angel wanted to visit Rajasthan so who were we to deny her and here we are."
