Ruhanika didn't know what to say or feel when she saw them before her. She was so surprised that she couldn't even blink. Standing before her was her brother Armaan and beside him was Amrit, her best friend. They sauntered towards her and still hadn't seen her face. She couldn't decipher the emotions she was feeling. Amrit was here! In Jodhpur!
Everything else was forgotten at that moment. Her eyes were stuck on her best friend. Her friends had always been her anchor. Amidst all the ignorance that she faced at home, they had always made her feel recognized. She was very grateful to them for being the only thing that she had, to rely on. On top of that Amrit, Ruhanika, and Anirudh were the closest because they had been together since the start while the rest of them had joined them over time. Now, after living so many days apart from them had left her feeling desperate for their presence. It is not like her family doesn't provide her any comfort. But when your whole life is flipped upside down suddenly, you cling on to that one familiar thing you know.
Her chain of thoughts was broken by Armaan's voice, "What are you guys doing here and who is that person?" Amrit added, "See, I know you guys are my friends but I don't like you bullying someone. Moreover, that girl doesn't even look like she is from here." Hearing his words, Ruhi remembered what these people did to her. And these people are their friends. Looks like their choices in making friends are not so good. She came out of the shadows in front of her brother and her friend.
They looked shocked to see her there. Ignoring the surprised look on their face, she continued, "Yes, I told them that I am not from here and am simply waiting for my brother to arrive, they didn't like it. I think I should just tell the teacher sitting inside that their students don't know how to behave with the students that do not study in their school." Armaan said surprised, "You were here to meet us." She replied, "Yes. Maa came here to meet your teacher and because I was with her, she let me come."
Meanwhile, Amrit couldn't believe his eyes. His Ruhi was here. He remembered calling his friends after they had reached Jaipur. They told him that not only them but Ruhi had also gone somewhere and her parents and sister weren't ready to tell anyone where she went. They were worried as hell. Moreover, Ruhi didn't even have a phone so that they could call and ask her. He was asked to go and live in Jodhpur with his cousin while Anirudh who was Jaipur's crown prince was asked to stay there. They were both cousins but since his family was a business class and not a royal one, he didn't have to stay in Jaipur and learn all the royal things. His cousin was a businessman and he was to learn things from his cousin.
Seeing Ruhi there, the first emotion he felt was relief. She was safe. And then he felt anger. Anger at the people he had grown to call friends ever since arriving here. They were rude but they had a soft heart beneath their rough exterior. Slowly, he became their friend. But anyone who hurt Ruhi was not his friend. She will always be his first priority, no matter what. She was someone who had been with him and Anirudh since the start. They were new in Lucknow, they were young. No one was ready to be friends with them. They were asked by their families not to tell anyone who their families were. The kids in the new school made friends seeing whose friendship could benefit them in the future. Even though the kids at that school were young, they were very cunning. Slowly, not having anyone with them made them feel left out. But then they met Ruhi, she was an angel. She cared for them, and did not care whether they were rich or not, could benefit her or not. She simply gave and they took it selfishly. They owed it to her. He simply couldn't control himself and went forward and hugged her tightly. He felt her hands on his back and smiled.
