"tell me if you feel alright when you see me standing there. tell me if you feel alright."

The bell rings and I squeal internally.
The first week of school is finally over and I am so happy!
I walk out of the classroom and clutch the straps of my backpack.
The halls buzz with tons of students.
I walk past a group of guys.
They are all very hot. One of them catches my attention though.
The brunette leaning against the locker with a blonde girl clutching his arm. Something about him makes me curious.
Curiosity killed the cat.
It did.
He's leaning casually against the lockers, his school uniform looking effortlessly cool on him.
Cool? What am I, 6?
Anyways, his white shirt is untucked just enough to hint at a rebellious streak, and the navy striped tie hangs loosely around his neck.
His dark hair falls in waves over his forehead, just brushing the edge of his piercing blue eyes. I can hardly tear my gaze away from the intricate tattoos that peek out from under his sleeves.
Am I pregnant?
A blush creeps up my cheeks as I notice the way his muscles flex under the fitted blazer, the fabric straining slightly with his every move.
I try to make myself smaller, hoping to blend into the sea of students. I begin picking at the skin around my nail, a nervous habit I acquired on my first day of boarding school.
My heart pounds in my chest.
My phone buzzes, bringing me out of my daze.
Maybe it's a text! I never get those!
I eagerly unlock my phone and it's a notification from my period tracker app, indicating I am due.
Oh...yay!
I sigh and put my phone back in my backpack. I walk down the halls uncomfortably. My uniform consists of a white shirt I have to wear tucked in and a striped tie. I also have to wear black shoes and knee socks, but I don't obey that part of the dress code.
I am very uncomfortable.
I got sent to boarding school after my mom died right in front of me and my dad blamed it on me.
That took a toll on me and I ended up getting drunk at a party and drunk driving my friends car.
Which then led to me getting arrested and after getting out of jail, I was sent here.
