"Thank you!" I called out to the nice delivery lady who delivered my pizza. I didn't know what Kai wanted to I just got plain cheese.

I tipped her a good amount I think.

"I got pizza," I tell Kai as I watch him walk over to the counter.

He still doesn't say anything as he grabs two slices of pizza.

I admire his tattoos a little further. They look like they stop at the hem of his sleeves but maybe if I just pull them up a little bit I'll see more.

NO!

I refrain myself from doing so.

I watch as Kai walks over to the room and hear shuffling the room.

Is this man hiding his food or something?

He returns into the living area with pizza in his mouth and an Xbox in his hands.

Oh?

"Is that an Xbox?" I blurt.

"Whuh duh ih look like?" He says with the pizza slice in his mouth.

"Ew," I mutter and he finishes chewing.

"What does it look like?" He goes again.

"An Xbox," I mutter.

"Yeah," He snaps and sets it up to my TV.

Well I guess our TV now.

"What're you gonna play?" I ask, grabbing a slice of pizza for myself.

"I dunno," He mumbles.

"Oh okay," I shrug and go back to eating my pizza.

My phone starts ringings and I look over to see my brother calling me.

"Hello!" I exclaim and hear him chuckle.

"Hi, old lady,"

"Hey okay I'm older than you by one minute, mister." 

"Yeah yeah whatever. Kai Emerson huh?"

So that's his last name.

"Yeah, how'd you know?" I squeak.

"Well he might've texted me," He chuckles.

"Ohh right.."

"How's it going?"

"Good," I lie. Well half lie, other than the fact he's not talking to me.

"Nirvana's coming over with Brynnlee so I gotta go." He states.
