The soft, golden light of morning filters through the thin hotel curtains, casting a warm glow over the room.

As I slowly awaken, I become aware of the gentle rise and fall of Kai's chest beneath my cheek.

His arm is draped protectively around me, and the steady rhythm of his heartbeat is soothing. A rush of warmth floods through me as memories of the night before come rushing back.

I shift slightly, careful not to wake him, and gaze at his face. In sleep, the usual hard edges of his features are softened, making him look almost boyish. His dark hair is tousled, and I smile, resisting the urge to reach out and smooth it. Instead, I let myself savor the moment, basking in the quiet intimacy of the morning.

Kai stirs, his eyes slowly opening to meet mine. For a moment, he looks disoriented, but then a slow, lazy smile spreads across his face. "Morning," he murmurs, his voice husky with sleep.

"Morning," I reply softly, my heart fluttering. The realization of our closeness sends a blush creeping up my cheeks, but I can't help but smile.

Kai tightens his arm around me, pulling me closer. "You okay?" he asks, concern flickering in his eyes.

I nod, feeling a mix of emotions—joy, nervousness, contentment. "Yeah, I'm good. Really good."

He presses a gentle kiss to my forehead, and I close my eyes, savoring the tenderness of the gesture. "Last night was... yup," he says, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Yeah, it was," I agree, my heart racing. "But I don't regret it."

"Neither do I," he says firmly, his eyes locking onto mine with an intensity that makes my breath catch.

We lay there for a while, wrapped in each other's arms, the silence between us comfortable and filled with unspoken words.

Eventually, he shifts, propping himself up on one elbow to look at him more closely.

"What do you want to do today?" He asks, brushing a strand of hair from his face.

"I don't know," I admit, smiling up at him. "Just stay here for a while longer?"

I laugh softly, feeling a rush of affection for him.

"Sounds good." He says.

"I need a shower first so I'll be right back."

"Okay," he says, his smile widening. "Take your time."

I slip out of bed, feeling the cool air against my skin as I make my way to the bathroom.

The hotel room is a mess—clothes strewn everywhere, evidence of last night...

I can't help but laugh as I step over a pile of discarded garments, heading toward the bathroom.

In the shower, the hot water cascades over me, washing away the remnants of sleep and any lingering doubts.

When I finish, I wrap myself in a fluffy towel and step back into the room. Kai is sitting up in bed, scrolling through his phone.

He looks up as I enter, his eyes lighting up.

"My turn?" he asks, his tone light and teasing.

"Sure, the showers always open." I say with a smile, feeling refreshed and ready to face the day.

He nods, stretching before getting out of bed. As he heads to the bathroom, he pauses to kiss me on the forehead. "I'll be quick."

I watch him go, my heart swelling with affection.

I start to tidy up the room, gathering our clothes and tidying the bed. As I do, I can't help but feel a surge of optimism.

I hear the water stop and he steps into the hallway between the bedroom and the shower.

"I yuzd your sohp." He says.

"What?" I laugh.

He holds up a finger and disappears to the bathroom, returning a moment later.

"I used your soap," He clarifies.

"ohh, that's okay," i smile.

He disappears again and i have this urge to say something.

so i say it.

"Kai," I say and he pops out from the bathroom.

"Yes?"

"Yes," I smile.

"Yes what?" He raises a brow.

"Yes to being your girlfriend,"

He raises both brows, disappears for another moment and then he comes back and scoops me up. He spins me around for a moment, still in his towel, then lowers me down and places a gentle kiss on my lips.

"I mean it's like whatever," He shrugs and boop his nose.

He scrunches is up and kisses me once more.
