"Ash! Ash." I gestured him to walk faster.

Naunahan ko siyang pumasok sa araw na ito at kanina ko pa siyang hinihintay dahil may mga gusto akong itanong.

"Wow, miss na miss mo ako ah? He grinned, settling down his seat.

"What do you know about Trevor? And his family?" I asked.

Kagabi ko pang gusto itanong yun kaso lang mas inuna kong pakalmahin ang sarili ko at late na din nun kaya hindi ko na siya inabala. Actually, I already tried searching for Cong. Villanueva pero wala namang anything unusual sa online articles at news about him or their family.

"Ayun pala kasi..." Sabi niya at tinampal ko kaagad ang braso niya. "Sorry, ito na. Hmmm... Ewan ko, mayaman?"

"Vini mentioned that their family is... powerful." I recalled.

Mapangasar siyang tumingin sakin, nagpapahiwatig ng kung ano. "Kayo ha!"

I pinched his arm a bit, kalian ba to makakausap ng seryoso? "Tanga, kagabi kasi..."

Ikinwento ko sa kanya ang nangyari, I don't know if he's being dramatic or he's just acting pero he looks shocked.

"Holy-" He said. "Ok? Do we need to worry about Vini's safety? I mean... paano kung ipabaril siya o ipakidnap? I should call tita for bodyguards!"

"What!?" My eyes widened "Are you serious?"

"Joke lang, hindi naman siguro. Sa teleserye lang siguro iyon nangyayari" Bawi niya.

Ito talaga, sasapakin ko na.

"Totoo nga na Finn and Benj always said how shitty Trev is as a friend at ayaw nila sa attitude niya. May anger issues daw kasi, minsan nananakit."

He shifted on his seat to make himself comfortable.

"Tsaka puro payabang lang daw kapag magkasama sila, they weren't even treated as friends, more like minions, I would say. Para cool tingnan, madaming nakasunod sa likod niya kapag naglalakad siya. Pero sa tingin ko Finn and Benj know something deeper and they're wise enough to stay out of it before they get involved."

"Seryoso na yan?" I mean, it sounds legit pero kasi itong kaibigan ko, mamaya gawa-gawa niya lang pala.

"Gagi, oo nga. Kaya ikaw, wag ka masyadong magdidikit doon. He has his dad to clean up his mess if ever he'd do something... bad?" He said. "Sa family nila, I don't really know anything aside sa rich and influential." Dagdag niya.

The information from Asher made me think about Trevor. Ganun ba siya? Well, hindi naman kami nagtagal sa pagda-date we only saw each other a few times so I can't really judge him base on that. But it is true that he is a little impatient, I remember him getting mad and ranting kapag natatagalan ang order namin.

The following week, we all got busy because it's final examination week. Tambak nanaman ng projects this week at may iilang exams na din. Hindi pa matatapos lahat this week though, ang ibang subjects ay next week pa ang schedule at marami ring presentations due next week. Aside from that, palapit na din ang finals at semi-finals ng UAAP men's basketball.

Despite our super busy schedule, nakasingit parin kami ng iilang dates ni Vini. Maiikli lang naman ang mga yun at madalas ay sa malapit lang at kumakain lang kami. It's more just so we could see each other and have mini updates about our lives.

With Vini, I realized that I don't need fancy places to call it a date. I don't need him to spend his whole day with me or wait for him to give me gifts to consider it as courting. A date could be as simple as eating breakfast together, walking each other home, cooking for each other. It's more about the effort of making time for each other despite having different priorities and responsibilities.
