"I'll miss you." My teary-eyed sister said while pulling me for a hug.

"I'll miss you too pero hindi naman ako naiiyak." I frankly told her kahit na nanlalambot na din ang puso ko. "Himala at hindi mo kasama ang boyfriend mo ngayon?"

When those two started working together in one company, halos hindi na sila mapaghiwalay. Where my sister goes, nandoon si Kuya Flint. Konti nga nalang ay mapagkakamalan ko na siyang kapatid ko. Kaya I voiced it out, para na din madivert na ang conversation namin.

"Mainit ang ulo ni mom sa kanya ngayon eh, na-inspire ka daw sa kanya kaya mo ginawa yung 'kalokohan' mo." She said while wiping the corner of her eyes.

I laughed at that. I did not, I already explained to them na hindi ko nga naalalang ginawa ni Kuya Flint yun. It was a mere coincidence.

I went on to hug my mom. She was glaring at me pero binalik din ang yakap. "Wag mong susubukang gumuwa ng kalokohan doon, kung hindi-"

"Yes mom." I cut her off. "Noted, noted."

Lastly, I hugged my little brother. "Be good, Leon." I told him.

My dad is coming with me so I'm not worried about anything. I did not even checked the documents or my flight details. Sumusunod lang ako sa kanya.

We checked in our luggage, passed through the immigration, waited at the lounge before boarding the plane.

Nasa plane na kami, waiting for the other passengers. I looked at my dead phone.

Although my charger was already given back to me last night, hindi ko iyon nicharge. Something about opening my phone suddenly feels scary so I didn't dare open it.

Wala akong balita kung ano na ang nangyari sa investigation or what happened to the team. Suddenly I'm scared to know the truth of what happened at lalo na, I don't know how I'll act if ever the news was saying the truth. Kahit kay Asher ay hindi ako nakapag-paalam.

I was wondering what my last messages could be when a flight attendant came in the hallway with a cart asking me what I want for lunch. My dad is already sleeping. Piniliian ko nalang siya ng kanya at hindi muna siya ginising.

I watched a movie after eating then fell asleep too. When our plane finally landed, we took a cab to a hotel and checked in.

Pagod na pagod ako pagkadating sa hotel. That was a long flight! Although I slept a bit on the plane, mahimbing at mahaba parin ang tulog ko that night. Is this the jet lag they were talking about?  

When I woke up, nakabihis na si Dad, kababalik lang sa labas.

"Good morning. Kumain na ako sa hotel buffet sa baba. Get ready so that you can have your breakfast too. We'll go to your campus after."

Sinunod ko ang sinabi niya. He was watching the TV while I was getting ready at sabay kaming bumaba papunta sa buffet area. Since he already ate, nag-explore muna siya habang kumakain ako then we took a cab going to Le Cordon Bleu campus.

We went to the admissions to process my documents. They verified my application at tinanong pa ako kung bakit nauna ako at hindi sumasabay sa iba pang applicants ng Le Grand.

I let my dad do the explaining and everything. We then proceeded to check my dorm. The accommodation is not inside the school pero malapit lang yun, walking distance lang. Kasama iyon sa benefits ng program so we didn't need to pay rent. Iyong bills lang kailangan naming bayaran which will be split into 4.

I checked the unit and it's pretty nice, the rooms too and the view. Kompleto ang lahat ng kailangan ko, it's not too small din, sakto lang. Wala pang tao roon dahil hindi pa naman start ng classes. We still have 1 week to go and for now, I'll be staying with my dad in the hotel.
