"Morning, baby." Maligayang bati ni Vini sakin at binigyan pa ako ng halik sa ulo.

I instantly moved my phone away and glared at him. I was video calling with my London friends! 

"Sorry, practice lang." He whispered with a smirk then ruffled my hair before going to the couch. Dala niya ulit ang laptop niya at iilang papel.

I posted some photos from the grand opening of the café and my London friends saw it too kaya they asked for a group video call.

I toured them around 1st floor a while ago at ngayon nag-kwekwentuhan nalang kami when Vini suddenly walked inside. Talagang umaakyat na siya mag-isa dito sa office ko huh?

"Wow, you got a boyfriend now, Yani?" Solar asked.

Umiling kaagad ako, denying it. They all laughed at my shy reaction.

"Let us meet him too, come on!" Ana excitedly said.

"Right, don't be shy, you finally got one. Back when we were studying you never entertained any boys even though they were head over heels for you." Steve laughed.

Napa-angat ang ulo ni Vini sa narinig. He then voluntarily walked towards me. He put his hand on the backrest of the office chair at yumuko konti para makita siya sa screen.

"Hi, I'm Vince." He introduced himself with a smile.

I looked at him in disbelief, kalian pa siya naging friendly? Akala ko nga hindi siya pupunta sa araw na to dahil baka may hangover pa siya but I was wrong. Maaga pa nga siya ngayon, it's still morning and he's already here, at masigla pa!

"Wooo!" Solar commented at tumaas pa ang isang kilay. "If you hurt our friend, know that we'll fly there and hunt you!" She warned and crossed her arms.

Vini let out a small laugh and nodded. "I'm the one who's constantly getting my feelings hurt because of your friend." He even dramatically touched his chest.

"Oh? That's very Yani!" Ana said. "Still, she's our friend and not you so we don't care if you're getting hurt or what."

Kung ang girls ay pinagtatangol ako ang boys naman ay binebenta ako.

"Remember our valentine's day org activity?" Aki asked. "We earned the most among the other school organizations because men were flocking to our booth for a free hug or kiss from Yani."

Humalakhak pa sila ni Steve at Dash. The girls had a grin too at ako naman ay na-iistress, why did Aki have to mention that?

"I remember that." Dagdag ni Dash. "You're lucky, mate. Yani chose you over hundreds of international men." He laughed.

Umirap ako sa pinagsasabi nila. Ang OA, hindi naman ganun yun, they are just exaggerating it! Steve had lots of girls knocking on his room, Solar had countless of public proposals and Aki's locker is always full of confession letters. Ana and Dash both have partners but sometimes they also get confessions. The school is just large and international kaya ganun!

Vini looked more interested with their stories than me. Kinuha pa niya ang isang upuan at tinabi sakin para parehas kaming makita sa screen ng maayos.

"I guess she prefers someone from home." Vini simply answered then smirked.

Inirapan ko siya, masyado niya yatang ni-fefeel ang pagiging 'the boyfriend' kahit hindi naman totoo.

Umingay ulit ang mga kaibigan ko at halos di ko na maintindihan ang sinasabi nila dahil sabay – sabay na ang nagsasalita at napunta ulit sa pag-rereminisce ang topic.
