Tart

I did not have a good sleep that night, pagising – gising ako every hour. Parehas kaming hindi na nakapagsalita buong byahe pagkatapos niyang itanong iyon kaya ang dami ko tuloy iniisip.

There was no explanation kung ano ang ibig sabihin niya. And most importantly, bakit ako nag-iisip ng isasagot? I have already made it clear that I will not fall for his trap again kasi nga I already know that he has this side where he'll make you feel special pero hindi ka pala nag-iisang special.

Bumangon ako nang napagtanto na hindi na ako makatulog ulit. I went downstairs and decided to bake something because it's been a long time since the last time I baked.

I checked our pantry to see if I have all the ingredients needed. I'm planning to make Mini Bakewell tarts because we often had those back in London.

While waiting for the tart in the oven, I opened the group chat I have with my London friends because I suddenly thought of them.

Dash posted a photo of us. The 1st one is a group photo of us when we were at Ilford, kompleto kaming magkakaibigan dito. I swiped left to see the other photos, meron doon kaming dalawa lang. It was a wacky picture of us when we were at a famous café, magkatabi kami both with very wide smiles.

I shared the group picture on my story at nilagyan ko ng caption na 'Miss you darlings'. Nilagyan ko pa ng maliit na flag emoji ang bawat isa sa amin base on which country we came from.

When we first hang out with Dash, he called every single one of us darling and so that kind of stuck around our group. We would call each other darling for no reason, nakasanayan lang. Minsan ay mate, sweetheart or even love, it's a pretty common thing to do in the UK.

After that, yung solo picture naman namin ni Dash ang pinagkaabalahan ko. I drew lines and shapes around the picture at nilagyan ng caption na 'IMY, MATE. LDR SUCKS ☹️'

Tinago ko na muna ang phone ko pagkatapos magpost at bumalik sa baking. After putting the frosting on, I let it chill first at bumalik sa kwarto para makapag-shower at ayos.
