I fanned my face as I walk out of the kitchen. Kahit na centralized naman ang aircon dito sa café, ang init parin kapag malapit sa may oven!

We have been operating for 2 weeks now and thankfully, we're going smoothly and getting a good response.

Our usual market are the employees from the nearby offices and some students from the dorms. On weekends we would get more customers that are not from nearby but those from other cities na dumayo pa. They probably found us through our social media accounts.

"Nandito talaga si Sir araw-araw?" Sabi ni Migs.

Tinanggal ko ang apron ko at sinundan ang tinitingnan niya. It's Vini in his usual seat here in the café.

It's the one by the window at malapit iyon sa may counter kaya nakikita ko ang ginagawa niya minsan at minsan naririnig pa kapag may kausap siya.

"Ewan ko." I shrugged. "Baka gustong bantayan ang progress ng shop?" I answered before going to the pastry shelf to check on it.

Alam lang nila na consultant namin si Vini pero hindi pa nila alam na magkakilala na kami dati pa.

I don't know why or what Vini is doing here every day. I told him we shouldn't see each other anymore pero nandito naman siya araw-araw. Para saan pa na pinasa niya ang project sa iba?

He would come here to have lunch then he'd stay until our closing time. Madalas ay busy siya sa laptop niya at minsan may ka-meeting din. He's here as a customer so hindi ko siya mapaalis at isa pa, we don't even talk to each other. Sometimes his friends would come too at mas nakakausap ko pa sila kaysa sa kanya.

Naisip ko kung hindi ba siya nagsasawa sa pagkain namin dito? We have a variety of pastries and drinks available everyday but as for our meals, we only have a limited number available as of now at puro pasta palang iyon.

Freya came the other day to discuss with me the plan for her little brother's 1st birthday.

She only requested for the flavor to be chocolate and it should be a 3-tiered cake. The design will be up to me as long as it fits the dreamy and cloudy theme of the party.

That's why that Saturday, I took a day off and went to the mall that afternoon to buy a gift for the upcoming birthday party I'm attending. Siguro, bagong damit na rin.

Sa sobrang busy ko kahit weekends ay nasa café ako. Pero so far ayos lang naman sakin dahil hindi naman sobrang stressful for me. It was a good idea to hire the right people because they helped me so much with the things that I'm not yet good at, mostly nagbabake lang talaga ako.

Inuna kong mag-grocery, to buy a few ingredients and decors I was lacking for the cake. Next, nag-shopping naman ako para sa sarili ko, I just got excited when I saw all the shops. I also went to look at some make-ups and bought some of my skin care products that needed to be re-filled.

I went to a kid's store after to buy a whole set of outfit then I also went to a toys shop para tingnan kung may magugustuhan ba akong bilhin.

I even saw Trail inside kaya dumeretso ako sa kanya.

"Hey, buying a gift too?"

Mag-isa siya at nakangiti pa siya nung nilingon niya ako. He probably thought I was a fan that approached him.

"Ui, Yani. What a coincidence! Pupunta dapat ako sa café mo after this. Dala ko na ang mga pinadevelop na pictures from the grand opening, pati and framed ones and the soft copies."

"Really? Dadaan din naman ako doon mamaya dahil sisimulan ko na ang cake para sa party. Sabay na tayo." I said at sinundan ng tingin ang mga laruan na tinitingnan niya.
