Lose
Vini and I went on a few more dates. Medyo napadalas ang breakfast date namin dahil doon lang kami parehas na free madalas.
May game sila today against ACU and I only watched a bit through live streaming dahil may class kami. Napasimangot ako nang tiningnan ko ang results after class. ACU won. Napagusapan pa naman naming magdadate kami pagkatapos ng game nila.
Paano na yan? Mamaya ay bad mood siya, should I cancel?
I decided to call him para lang timbangin kung mas mabuti bang icancel nalang muna ang date.
"Hey..." Panimula ko nang sinagot niya.
I wasn't expecting him to answer it though, madalas kasi hindi naman niya tinitingnan ang phone niya kahit after the game.
"You alright? I saw the results. Do you want to cancel?" I continued.
"No. I mean no, let's not cancel it. I want to see you and yes, I'm fine."
"Alright, see you?"
"See you." He said before ending the call.
Habang hinihintay si Vini, dumaan muna ako sa office ng program adviser namin. I received an email from her asking me to go see her during my free time. It is about an offer of exchange student program we will discuss about.
"Good afternoon, Miss." Bati ko nang nakapasok sa office niya.
"Good afternoon Miss Lee. How are you?" She asked habang nagtatabi ng papers at folders na binabasa niya kanina.
"I'm fine, Miss." I smiled.
"As I mentioned in the email, congratulations. You are eligible for Le Cordon Bleu London's exchange student program."
She clasped her hands together before continuing.
"As you know, LCB is one of the best schools to study culinary at. Our school has recently received an exclusive offer from them and we are very honored for this partnership."
I nodded, feeling proud too.
"After checking the performances of some students, I'm happy to inform you that you are one of the promising students eligible for this program. Of course, the decision is yours to make. Pero I would like to emphasize how good this opportunity is."
"Yes, Miss." Sagot ko. Of course, it is! It's like the dream school of so many aspiring chefs.
"Although may kamahalan ang program, it has a lot of benefits too. I will send you the detailed and complete information about this. Read it properly and think about it carefully. This is a very nice opportunity."
"Opo."
"Don't hesitate to come here or message me if you have any questions. Tell me your decision if you have made up your mind okay?"
"I will, Miss."
She also explained how my remaining courses would be credited if ever I'll accept the program. She mentioned other programs LCB offers and said that I could choose my own track of specialty. Na-excite kaagad ako dahil may naiisip na akong pipiliin if ever.
"Alright, congratulations again." She smiled at me at kinamayan ako.
"Thank you, Miss." Sabi ko bago tumayo.
Kinawayan ko siya bago lumabas ng office niya.
I'm thrilled! Sa totoo lang, I was so shocked when I read her email, nidouble check ko pa kung official ba yung email niya baka kasi scam eh.
