Hemophobia(PT.5)
“Rain Forest Arrival”

A man in a short sleeve black button up, cream colored pants and black dress shoes was walking back and forth from what seemed like a cargo ship, teenagers lined up on each side as he began to speak, his voice deep and gravelly, making some of the teenagers flinch in slight fear while others seemed unimpressed

“I want all of you, all of you to be able to stand your ground out there. If you forget a single thing we taught you when you step out of this plane, you will die. I hope I made myself clear”

He continued, glaring at the kids beneath him as he scanned their faces, looking for any hesitation or resistance from any of the passengers. Most of them nodded, Except for 3. Luna, Eclipse, and an unnamed male with what looked like a scar going from cheek to cheek and over the bridge of his nose.

Luna seemed uninterested, almost as if she knew they could do nothing to her if she didn't speak out. Eclipse was just fiddling with his thumbs, kicking his legs back and forth since he was too short for his feet to touch the ground.

However, the unnamed person next to them seemed lost in thought. He wasn't menacing, he didn't look it atleast. He was just…there..  Quickly The man stared them down, demanding obedience of some sort with no luck. With a low snarl, The man walked off, going to the front of the plane as they prepared their landing.

A few more hours passed. Luna and Eclipse were talking about a random song Luna used to sing to him when he was younger. Well, it seemed more like an argument since Eclipse was embarrassed she was saying this in a cargo full of over 100 teens who attempted to hide their laughter out of fear of Luna.

All of them of course…except the unnamed man beside to their right. He laughed as hard as he could. He couldn't believe that there was actually a child along with prodigies. Everyone else quickly looked away, not wanting to see what Luna would do to the poor soul.

“Oh man! I almost didn't believe them when they said this junior was gonna be joining us! Why is he even here?? Isn't it dangerous? Where are your parents, little one?

He said in a tone of mock concern as he poked Eclipse's cheek, trying to get a ride out of him. But, Eclipse didn't seem bothered, instead giggling to himself, not from their words, but instead from his cheek being poked to the male’s confusion.

“Stop! I'm ticklish!”

Eclipse shouted, smacking their hand away as he rubbed his face, trying to suppress his laughter.  The teasing assailant just stared at them, his expression blank. There was straight silence in the cargo ship before They laughed once more, finding Eclipse amusing.

“Ha! I like you! You're weird! My name’s Pluto, What's yours?”

The male, we now know was Pluto asked as he reached out and ruffled their hair. Eclipse being the ever so friendly person he was, immediately answered their question.

“Oh! It's Ecli- mmfff…”

His mouth was quickly covered by Luna who immediately turned her attention to Pluto, slightly narrowing her eyes as he stared daggers into them

“What do you want, Pluto?”

She asked with disdain in her voice. Her expression turning more and more protective as the moments pass

“What?? I can't just talk to someone who interests me? Luna the buzz kill, everybodyyyy”

“Shut up. You know why I asked that. You guys aren't supposed to be here. It's for rookies..”

“And yet..here you are..on a ship with a bunch of them. We have a special pass, y'know? We didn't have to come here. So why did you?”

Their back and forth slowly got more and more heated as they leaned in closer and closer to each other, seemingly challenging the other to throw a punch or even say something wrong.

Suddenly, Luna got her hand licked which snapped her out of her angered state as she swiped her hand on the seat in disgust. The person who licked it? Eclipse of course, who immediately began to spit because her hand tasted weird.

Quickly, The small innocent boy began to speak again after successfully getting the hand taste out of his mouth.

“Guys stop arguing! Leave it for when we can kick each other's butts! And….”

His tone dropped a bit, still high-pitched but way more serious than before as he stared at Luna, feeling strange about Her and Pluto’s interaction.

“How do you guys know each other? And…why are our names connec-”

Crash

It seems like the ship finally landed. Eclipse decided to leave his questions for later as he slowly got out of his seat. He wasn't gonna let Luna’s secrets ruin his first day in the forest after all. Quickly he ran towards the now opened cargo door, running out like a kid in a candy store, zipping past everyone else.

Noticing her very stupid friend leave the ship before everyone else, Luna attempted to run after him, wanting to make sure he wouldn't get hurt. But before she could leave, Pluto firmly grabbed her arm, stopping her in her tracks.

“It's him…isn't it? That's why you're here!? Jeez.. who could have guessed that you..out of everyone. Good ol Luna The Stained, had the potential to feel”

He said with snark, his expression teasing along with his grip tightening. However, his mocking was cut short by a knee to the gut when made him keel over, gripping his stomach and immediately letting go of Luna. He struggled for breath, his eyes widened as he took a deep, long gasp for air. But before he could get up or even respond, Luna crouched down and grabbed the back of his head, her hand entangled in their hair  as she glared at him

“You seem to forget your place Everytime we meet, Pluto. I want you to know this. Whatever group you bring to assist you in the event will be cut down if you lay a finger on his head..”

Her words sent shivers down Pluto's spine. He's never felt fear before, and it pissed him off. He didn't want to make it obvious right now however, Luna could easily stop him. Instead he nodded vigorously which caused Luna’s gripping to loosen before she walked away, leaving Pluto on the ground, hugging his stomach.
