Hemophobia(PT.8)
“Rain Filled Head”

“It's raining, it's pouring the old man is snoring..uh..something..something..something..something…man this is boring-”

Said Eclipse who was currently hanging upside down from a tree, watching as his friend Luna made sharp spears and other weapons from their environment. There were a multitude of tarantula’s by her side, all upside down with webs coming out from the abdomen caused by Luna extracting and layering them until it became thick enough to sound like a guitar string when plucked. Satisfied with her craftsmanship, she placed the string down and turned her attention to Eclipse who was still in the same position from before.

“Well I'm sorry your hyperactive squirrel brain can't handle silence. Plus, I told you to get firewood before it starts to rain again. It’s already sprinkling..”

Luna replied, her voice harboring a hint of annoyance at his lack of action mixed with his loss of focus like he was deep in thought.

Eclipse immediately snapped out of whatever train of thought he had as he remembered the task she had asked of him, his facial expression turning into an apologetic and regretful look. He dropped down from the tree, landing feet first into a muddy puddle before walking over to Luna.

“Sorry.. I didn't mean to forget, I was just..”

“Thinking about something?”

Luna asked bluntly, crossing her arms over her chest as she began to tap her foot on the ground impatiently, making Eclipse a bit nervous. He knew he couldn't really hide anything from her, especially about this, it could get out of control. With a deep inhale, he finally spoke up, ready to spill the beans.

“...Luna.. I have a weird feeling..like I'm gonna do something...something bad-”

“Eclipse.. It's fine. Nothing will happen, relax goofball.

“But what if something does happen? Then what..? Yeah, it's just a feeling..but..it feels too..real...and I'm scared..I'm scared of…”

Eclipse paused for a bit, his mind flashing with disturbing images that made him sick to his stomach, his hairs standing up on their hind legs as he gritted his teeth.

“Luna.. I want you to promise…if I ever..act out..knock me out, please?-”

He muttered out, looking down at the ground as his thoughts kept giving him sickening replays, the sound of cutting, of flesh being pierced, it all made him weak to his knees. Luna was shocked, she never thought she'd hear something like that from someone like Eclipse, atleast not this soon. Not only that, she didn't want to hurt him..but she knew it was better to nod than to argue.

“Yeah, I'll make sure you'll be relaxed..”

She slowly walked up to Eclipse, a friendly smile on her face as she stared down at his tiny frame. She reached her hand out and ruffled his hair, dragging his head back and forth as she did. Eclipse couldn't help but giggle and laugh at this, trying his best to push her hand away but to no avail. Luna slowly slid her hand down his face, stopping right below his ear as she cupped his face with her right hand.

“Listen to me though. It was just an accident, and that's it. I know you didn't mean it. You have a good heart. So, there's no point in crying about the past…and why is that?”

Luna asked, her eyes searching for any sadness or hesitation. She wasn't the best at comfort, in fact she's still very new to it, but she wanted to try, at least for him. Eclipse looked at her with slightly tear filled eyes, a wavering smile creeping on his face as he leaned into her palm. After a couple sniffled and With a deep exhale, Eclipse finally answered her question, a look of determination on his face

“...Cause we're in the present…!”
