Jimin found himself in Jungkook's apartment, the air still filled with their playful banter as Jungkook excused himself to his room to change. Meanwhile, Jimin made his way to the fridge, where he poured a refreshing glass of orange juice and grabbed a pack of savory dry squid from the shelves. Nestling into the sofa, he tore open the package and began to enjoy the crispy snack.

As Jimin savored the squid, a whirlwind of emotions swept through him, his thoughts consumed by the memory of their recent passionate kiss. Jungkook's tender touch lingered in his mind, leaving him with a smile as he sipped his juice.

In the midst of his reverie, Jungkook emerged from his room, his hair still damp from the shower, a towel wrapped around his head as he dried his locks. Taking a seat beside Jimin, he regarded him with an amused expression, his eyes fixed on Jimin, who pretended to focus on his snack. Sensing Jungkook's intense gaze, Jimin instinctively drew his leg closer to his chest, creating a subtle barrier between them.

Feeling a sudden wave of self-consciousness, Jimin playfully tossed a piece of squid towards Jungkook and blurted out, "Could you please stop staring at me?"

With a mischievous smirk, Jungkook reached for Jimin's ankle, playfully pulling him closer and placing Jimin's legs on his own thigh.

Jimin's cheeks flushed crimson as Jungkook openly admired him, With a hint of curiosity, Jungkook asked his question, "So, why do you feel that today is the perfect moment to share your feelings?"

Jimin sat there, lost in thought, his expression a canvas of conflicting emotions as he wrestled with the decision of whether to retract his legs or maintain their current position, acutely aware of the danger it posed.

A mischievous grin played on Jungkook's lips as he quipped, "You've foiled my plans."

Jimin shot him a sidelong glance, a flicker of amusement dancing in his eyes, "Plans? You had plans?"

"Absolutely," Jungkook retorted matter-of-factly, his voice laced with sincerity. "I had everything meticulously arranged to confess outside your dorm the day after tomorrow. Heart-shaped candles, a bouquet of flowers, and a well-rehearsed script..."

Jimin's laughter bubbled softly, "A bit cliché, wouldn't you say?"

"Cliché?" Jungkook challenged, arching an eyebrow. "Isn't it a tried-and-true, modern way of confessing these days?"

Jimin mulled over the countless similar scenarios that had unfolded on their campus and nodded, conceding, "You're right, it's quite the normal around here. So, what did you have in mind for the script?"

Jungkook nodded resolutely, clearing his throat before beginning, "Jimin."

"Yes?" Jimin responded, curiosity piqued.

"I like you," Jungkook declared boldly.

A pregnant pause enveloped the room as Jimin digested the unexpected revelation.

"Please, be with me," Jungkook implored softly, his sincerity palpable in his tone.

Jimin blinked in surprise, his guard momentarily lowered, "Is that all? Are you serious?"

Jungkook reassures him, "For a moment like that, it should be fine. I'll make it up to you then. I won't give you a heads-up."

"No need for compensation," Jimin mumbles, a whirl of emotions inside him. "We're already together, why the need for another confession?"

"Just as a formality," Jungkook explains, his gaze softening.

Jimin looks at him, puzzled, "But why does it matter to you?"
