It was the day Jungkook would go back to Seoul His flights were in the afternoon at 2 pm so they decided to go to the cemetery in the morning. The morning air was crisp, filled with a gentle stillness as Jungkook led Jimin through the cemetery, the sun  peeking over the horizon. The dew-kissed grass crunched softly under their feet, and the faint sound of birds chirping was the only company they had. As they reached the modest gravestone, Jungkook's heart felt heavy, a familiar ache settling in his chest.

He knelt down, tracing the letters of his mother's name with trembling fingers. "Hey, Mom," he began, his voice barely above a whisper, yet it carried the weight of his emotions.

"I'm here again." He took a deep breath, steadying himself as he continued.

"Dad... he still hasn't woken up. The doctors say he might not make it this time." His voice wavered, and he paused, feeling the lump in his throat.

"I wish things were different..."

"I wish you were still here so you could stay with me. I miss seeing your beautiful smile." Jungkook closed his eyes for a moment, allowing the memories of his mom's laughter and warmth to wash over him, mingling with the deep pain of his loss.

"I still remember your laugh so clearly. I always wish I could hear it again," he spoke softly, his voice filled with longing.

"I hope you're resting well now," he murmured, a tear escaping down his cheek. "You truly deserve peace after everything you've been through."

After a moment, he steadyed his face and turned slightly, glancing at Jimin, who stood quietly beside him, offering silent support.

"Mom, I want you to meet someone special," Jungkook said, his voice softening.

He holds Jimin's hands as he feels a rush of warmth blooming in his heart.

"This is Jimin. He's my boyfriend."

"Didn't you always tell me that everyone has a guardian angel who watches over them, protects them, and loves them unconditionally? Back then, I used to think I didn't have one and that you were just trying to make me feel better. But now I realize you were right. My angel was always by my side, even if I didn't see it." Jungkook said with a warm smile.

He held Jimin's hand tighter, pressing a soft kiss to the back of it . "This angel makes me feel loved in ways I never thought possible again. You don't need to worry about me anymore."

Jimin's eyes softened as he listened to Jungkook's words, a gentle smile spreading across his face. He stepped forward, and knelt down beside Jungkook, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Hi, Aunty," he said softly, his voice filled with warmth.

"I just wanted to say that I'll take care of Jungkook. I promise to be there for him." He looked at Jungkook, his eyes filled with understanding.

"You raised an amazing son, and I'll do my best to make him happy." He squeezed Jungkook's hand back, feeling a warmth radiate between them.

As they sat there, the sun began to rise, casting a golden light over the grave, illuminating the love and connection they shared in that moment. Jungkook felt a flicker of comfort, knowing that even in their grief, they could find solace in each other.

For convenience, Jungkook drives directly to the airport. Initially, he thought about sending Jimin back to the dorm, but Jimin insists on accompanying him, wanting to make sure Jungkook doesn't miss his flight. On the way, Jungkook contacts a reliable substitute driver, ensuring everything is set for his journey.
