After making excuses for missing class, Jungkook often visits Jimin multiple times. However, due to work commitments in the mornings, he usually comes by in the evenings. Jimin, on the other hand, sometimes has prior engagements and informs Jungkook in advance.

Aside from attending classes, Jimin is also occupied with a competition, seeking guidance from teachers frequently.

Upon returning to the dorm at night, jimin overhears his friends discussing whether to go home for the summer.

"I might not go back home; I aim to secure an internship," Jin declares. "Staying home would lead to idleness. It's better to engage in meaningful work."

Sehun reacts, "An internship in your first year?"

Jimin is taken aback by Jin's ambition.

"It's just a plan," Jin reassures with a smile. "Senior students in our department have interned during their first summer break. I've heard it's a productive experience. Besides, my boyfriend won't be going home either."

Jimin, intrigued by Jin's bold plans, wanted to share his own summer aspirations but hesitates, fearing his parents' disapproval. Worried they might send Taehyung to fetch him back home, sensing these thoughts, Jimin musters the courage to message his older brother.

After much deliberation, Jimin finally expresses his heartfelt desires:

Impatient to type, Taehyung swiftly sends a voice note:

Taehyung: "Your post grad boyfriend isn't coming home either?"

Jimin: "........"

Taehyung chuckles coldly: "If it's a holiday, come home. What's all this talk about?"

In the heat of the moment, Jimin, feeling upset, decides to call Taehyung directly to address the situation. However, the call abruptly ended, leaving Jimin in a moment of uncertainty.

Jimin takes a moment to gather his thoughts, contemplating his next steps in the conversation.

Soon after, Taehyung sends another voice note, reiterating his previous stance with a firm tone: "If you have nothing, don't call me."

Gathering his thoughts, Jimin records a response: "I meant an internship, not dating. Besides, what's wrong if I want to date someone older than you? I'm not dating a man older than Dad."

He sends the voice note, hoping to convey his message clearly.

Taehyung swiftly replies: "If you have something to say, just text."

Jimin contemplates his next move, feeling a mix of relief and tension in the air.

Jimin, feeling really upset and frustrated, decides to shoot Taehyung another voice note: "You also send me a voice note?"

But as time passes, Taehyung remains silent, leaving Jimin hanging.

In his disappointment, Jimin vents: "Because you didn't date in college and now you're single and unhappy, you're getting jealous of me."

Despite Taehyung's continued silence, Jimin, his heart boiling with anger, refuses to end the chat abruptly. He clenches his jaw and decides to type out his previous message from the voice note, unwilling to let things go without a response.
