Jimin and Jungkook stroll into a nearby barbecue joint and settle at a table.

Jungkook grabs a hot towel to clean his hands and then proceeds to pour a glass of water. "You still have one more exam, right? When is it?" he inquires.

Jimin replies, "It's on Thursday."

"You still have three days left?" Jungkook remarks.

"Yeah." Jimin rubs his eyes. "I'm planning to head back to the dorm after this to catch up on some sleep. I've been staying up late these days. I'm so tired."

Jungkook chuckles, "Then why did you have coffee earlier?"

Jimin answers seriously, "I drank coffee to help me sleep. Oddly enough, it makes me drowsy after drinking it."

Jungkook laughs, "What kind of body logic is that? Will you be pulling all-nighters for the next three days?"

"No," Jimin shakes his head. "I think three days will be sufficient to prepare for the final exam."

"How did your interview go?" Jungkook inquires.

"It went fine. I think I did well. It seems like that company is in need of more staff," Jimin scratches his head before asking, "Jungkook hyung, has my brother contacted you?"

Jungkook glances at his phone. "No, why?"

Silence falls between them, a sense of tension looming.

But Jimin, recalling their recent dispute and how he had distanced himself, hesitates to reconcile. He sips his water and states flatly, "We're not on good terms."

Jungkook's expression shifts, "What happened?"

"He doesn't agree that I won't be going home for the summer break..." Jimin hesitates. "Oh, by the way, have you spoken to my brother about our relationship?"

"Not yet," Jungkook responds calmly. "Initially, I had planned to take a week off to find you when you return to Seoul for the summer break. I wanted to have a chat with Taehyung about it."

"And now?"

"Now, I'll wait for you until the National Day holiday, and then we'll both head home together. It feels more genuine, right?" Jungkook smiles. "I'll personally go to him."

Jimin remarks, "He shouldn't hit you."

"It's alright," Jungkook reassures. "I'm okay with letting him do that." Jungkook doesn't mind; he's happy with the idea.

After lunch, they both take a leisurely walk to help with digestion. Jimin then hops on the subway back to the university. By the time he reaches the dorm, it's already 2:00 p.m.

Inside the room, only Jin is there.

Jimin looks around at how tidy his other roommates' spaces are and asks, "Have they all left already?"

"Yep," Jin responds while packing. "They're done with their exams. Minhao went home, Sehun and his boyfriend went on a short trip."

His roommates have finished their exams, leaving only Jimin with an optional course exam.

Jimin asks, "Where are you headed?"

"I'm renting a place with my boyfriend," Jin explains. "We're planning to spend the summer holiday together outside."

Jimin hesitates, feeling a bit reluctant, "I thought we'd be rooming together."

"You should go find your secret crush, Jungkook hyungie." Jin suggests with a sheepish smile. "How do you feel about dating? Oh, wait, I mean being with your secret crush?"
