Chapter 3: The Village

You and Rimuru met back up, you struggled to explain the wolf queen who was happily sat by your side like a dog as you stood adressing everyone- you wore heavy armour made from dragon scales and bones whilst also have dragonic features yourself, if they didn't know you were good you could definetly say that the lesser beings in front of you would have a hard time not shaking but you look out and relay Rimuru's words for him since they are more likely to listen to you;

You; " Today, here and now, we form a village- we need to grow stronger if we wish to live in this world and so, we will be working together- each direwolf will pair with a goblin, you will live and work together in unison; you shall not treat one another badly or act as if someone is lower than you, you shall obey our rulings and orders unless you can explain a good reason why you should not do something- we know not of how this world works so if you think your advice can help us then do not be afraid to do so: those are your laws for eachother but for how we will go about treating others outside the village.

Treat all races equally even if they are weaker because just as you all will, they will too someday and they may seek revenge, Do not harm humans; humans are sneaky and extremely intelligent so messing with them may risk the forces of a whole human kingdom against us which we may not survive, do not attack unless provoked or directly harmed, creatures may have different greeting methods and customs so what you see as agression may be normal to them and this can cause disputes. The wolves and goblins let out a cheer in acceptance of these rules, you look to the elder and sigh as you cross your arms and address him;

You; " next order of business, I need everyone's names "

Elder; " we are not blessed with names, since you know not of this world- names grant a monster strength equal to that of their master's strength and total magicules, it drains magicules to use but the master can regain their total quickly if they are strong "

You and Rimuru look to eachother, you give a side-eye to the wolves and wolf queen as Rimuru nods and allows you to take over naming the wolves as he names the goblin villagers;

Rimuru; " So if everyone here has no name, why don't we both give you some? "

The Villagers and Wolves looked shocked, glancing around before going ape shit wild and cheering loudly; they quickly gathered into a line as you went to name the wolves ad looked over them all- you watched each one wag their tails as you smiled and saw them all as big puppies, the first one in the line was one you saw next to the alpha, presumably his son and current alpha.

you: " I shall name you... Ranga "

The wolf took the name proudly, you assigned him to be Rimuru's aid and he went immediately- you went down the line of wolves naming them after the german numbers since no one in this world shall know them, it was lazy and Rimuru smirked at you for this since you both had gotten lazy with your namings but finally you were done and addressed the wolves;

You; " Your old alpha is dead, you shall be ruled over by Kaya- she will be in charge of you as the Kayari Tempest Wolves!! "

Kaya looked shocked as all the wolves bowed to her, she was raised by them but never expected to be their alpha- you smiled at her and she leaped on you, hugging you and calling you master before begging to have her own new name;
