Chapter 41: The Waterpark

It was time for me and Rimuru to start heading to our destination for our honeymoon, I was almost certain he would enjoy it but I needed to make sure his spirits were high before heading there just to try amp up the feeling in case he's not as excited as I thought.

We began to walk outside, helping him fix the last of his outfit together before gathering all the bags together for Rimuru to store- watching him prance around in a sundress and large straw hat made my heart race for a few moments as it was almost a luxury to merely witness it; forcing myself to look away as he bent over to pick up a bag and a gust of wind gave me a golden opportunity that I rejected out of respect. As I turned back to look, I saw Rimuru pouting and turning away at the same time as I turned to him as if he wanted and expected me to look and was upset when I didn't.

We eventually made sure we had everything and stored the bags away before Rimuru looked up at me, he didn't say anything but I could tell what he wanted to ask and stepped away into an open area which seemed to confuse him; he watched patiently though and waited as I began to flow magicules back towards me from the atmosphere making it almost dense around me, the magic in the air began to form large pink wings from my back made from pure energy and an appropriate wing span for someone of my size to fly. Rimuru looked astonished at the large dragon like wings as his were often small and black, not working as intended most often at times since they weren't appropriate to size and counteract his weight. Rimuru rushed beside me as I opened my arms and quickly grabbed him against my chest before the large wings attached to me began to flap and force air down allowing for take off and ascension into the air at a quickened pace, Rimuru tried holding back a scream as we took off into the air but it seemed to be more one of excitement than one of terror as we soared through the large expanse of blue sky and towards the eastern continents or alternatively.. back to my home.

The wind wasn't too strong already but using magic to dampen the effects of wind resistance allowed for fast and safe travel with Rimuru comfortably in my arms, it had been a good while since we did anything like this- something so exciting, it reminded me of the time we skydived as part of a field trip during highschool, Satoru's legs were shaking before we even got on the plane but he seemed so confident in face to try and act as if he wasn't fearing for his life. We had to buddy up due to lack of parachutes, fortunately it wasn't my first time doing it so I was allowed to go without an aid attached to me like beginners; Satoru insisted on us buddying up since he assumed we'd fall together with someone else doing the hard work but was astonished to say the least when he was informed I'd be jumping without help and wanted to try back out of the situation, being nice obviously, I said he didn't have to jump with me but he still insisted and pushed forwards into my arms before we attached together and dove from the plane- I could tell he was terrified and closed his eyes as soon as we jumped but his hands tried grabbing me which didn't work due to me being the one on the back. 

Even now it seems Rimuru is scared of falling, holding on tightly to my waist as we flew hastily through the air and into the visible horizon of the Grimshallow Isles where I call home. Rimuru attempted to open his eyes as we began to descend which was when he finally noticed the area we were going; a large expanse of beach, a huge towering array of structures and scenic hotels lining the spots for great views- quite simply put, it was a water park and a tremendously large one at that.  I could feel the excitement shaking his body, his eyes gleaming with childish abandon as he saw the huge water park and our slow descent upon it; there seemed to be a large landing pad prepared already and many cleared the area to allow for a soft landing. 

We eventually touched down onto land, Rimuru slithered from my arms and looked around with wonder at the sights to be witnessed purely from the landing pad, he quickly turned and rushed against me- wrapping his arms at my waist before looking up with happily tearful eyes.

Rimuru: " You remembered how much I wanted to visit a water park! "

You: " Ofcourse, It's not exactly a romantic get away like most honeymoons but I thought something you would enjoy may be better than a longue in a fancy city "

Rimuru: " oh this is definitely so much better! where should we go... wait how much does it all cost, will we have to pay per ride? "

You: " Let me show you something "

I was about to sound a bit dickish but who says I can't brag to my husband, opening the nearby gates from the landing pad with a simple push as we were witness to a large expanse of water themed rides and attractions full of people and laughter all visible from the spot we stood. Rimuru looked ecstatic at the view but the price still lingered in his mind very visibly until he saw what was a figurehead of the resort and a very large monument- it may have been a bit prideful but there was a large statue sat in the centre acting as a water fountain, a statue that very clearly depicted ones self, Rimuru turned upon seeing it and stared with a blank face for a few minutes a his brain split and scrambled like eggs.

Rimuru: " You own this place? " 

You: " Of course, this entire archipelago known as Grimshallow Isle is my kingdom, this resort, the cities, everything "

Rimuru: " You've been busy! "

You: " Not really, this was built and run using my skill Dominion; I managed to get spirits to do all the fine work but the rest is all done through the skill itself. People cannot do anything but follow the rules here so it's the perfect place for people to enjoy though it did require fine tuning to get the words right "

Rimuru: " If its you I assume it makes the place peaceful whilst still giving everyone freedom of choice and full autonomy? "

You: " What else but that! "

The both of us laughed before I gently took his hand and guided to a room of much grandeur, an extravagant lot away from the noisy part of the resort and fixed with the best the isle could offer obviously for me and Rimuru to enjoy,  it was lavish and fancy down to even the minor details like the lining on the wall but the main part that would light up the room wasn't even in play yet. 

Rimuru rushed to put the bags away and place the stuff in organised places as we would be enjoying my kingdom's life for a while as a honeymoon, he seemed excited and rushed to start doing the one thing I was waiting for the most; I watched as he grabbed a swimsuit and ran into the bathroom. My heart raced and mind whirled with imagination as I couldn't stop picturing what he would look like in it, I waited for the entire few minutes he took trying to tame the lesser beast that seemed excited to meet Rimuru until the door finally slid open and I bear witness to a truly amazing sight
