Chapter 15: The aftermath and the promise

The end of the battle with Charybdis couldn't have been sweeter, you evolved and got the power to fight even stronger foes for Rimuru as well as having his skills evolves aswell. The fighters involved returned back to the city of Tempest as the evacuated civillians also returned along side them, parts were sent to the blacksmith and people began to gather food and supplies to celebrate- however, for the leaders; a bigger concern arrived.

King Gazel representing Dwargon, Two of the three beastketeers, The External Minister of Tempest; Rimuru Tempest, Demon Lord Milim Nava and the Internal Minister of Tempest (Y/N) 'Monarch' Nava Tempest all gathered in the meeting hall of the Tempest Manor and began discussions of trade and further action.

Rimuru: " To begin, we'd like to form an alliance and trade route with both dwargon and the beast kingdom. Any comments or objections? "

Milim: " Nah I'm already in a non-agression pact so this works better for me! "

Albis: " I am sure Lord Carrion will not object that offer "

Gazel: " I only wish to know what sort of trades will be happening "

Rimuru: " As it stands now, the best trade route would be for Tempest to supply alcohol and monster materials to Dwargon who can supply tools and weapons to The beast kingdom who will then trade fruit with Tempest.. this allows for a full circle trade route and of course these supplies can go both ways so not only one nation recieves them but the trade would be most beneficial "

You: " To interject, I would also like to ask for permission to set up shops in both nations to allow private selling of goods- these goods will be available to tax and profit will be based on the country the shop is based in. If you need examples of my wares that I am selling on behalf of tempest then I have gifts to give to both nations as symbols of peace and the value I can grant, this is beneficial to us as we can show Tempest as a peaceful nation "

Albis: " I would like to see these gifts "

You nodded, heading to a seperate room before bringing out a set of boxes- you placed them in front of the two nation representatives and nodded for them to open it as you stepped back; both opened it as the room radiated magicules.

You: " I grant both nations a set of rings I call the Grant Delux Rings, these will grant the user my summoning magic and allow any rank of dragon under calamity class to be summoned in return for a large amount of magicules, the lower the rank the less magicules to be used and the more you can summon; if these rings are intended to be used against Tempest at any point I will be warned and can activate a remote detination which will almost indefinetly kill the wearer, you may also do the same to me if I happen to turn against you "

You showed you wore a ring, smiling as they didn't know it wasn't only for that- your ring would not detinate but it would allow you to keep tabs on either nation's leaders if they wore it, next to the rings in the boxes were also daggers- one each;

You: " The daggers are called Nation's Pride. These daggers are classed as legendary grade but only under a one time use, they will allow a nation's fallen people to revive perfectly normally aswell as grant every person of the nation a boost in stats temporarily, they are to be used strictly during times of war "

The representatives looked shocked, legendary grade weapons that can revive the dead and boost the stats of every citizen of a nation, they were far too great to be gifts but they could tell you were serious- you intended to make Tempest a trusted nation but soon you felt a tug on your pants as you turned around and faced Milim who looked up at you with a giant pout on her face

Milim: " You've given your mama no gifts yet! "

You: " How about I make you something later, these are diplomatic matters Milim "
