You finally turnt your back on Tempest, saying goodbye to it once and for all. It pained you to leave it all behind but now you needed to declare your independence and head for the bigger world- taking your rightful place on the throne of the Grimshallow Isles and becoming it's ruling power within the eastern kingdoms.

You rushed back quickly, Kaya and Eleanor preparing to leave but shocked once they saw you land and fold back in your wings meaning you didn't need a quick return, they ran and hugged you but not before quietly scolding you under their breaths for leaving them without a word; you were swiftly taken back into the manor where people were awaiting to see if you were ever to return, the maids and butlers seemed estatic once you re-entered and rushed to welcome you back; these were your people, people who knew you existed and were pleased by your presence at all times and not just during troubles.

Within the next few days, you were both crowned and publicly announced as the king and ruler of the two court alliance- both courts and their allies formed a larger group with became known as the Two Court Alliance, you were also named ruler of the main cities and central city which was under construction and dubbed Nava for your name, the day court's main city became renamed to Icarus and the Night court's main city became Kptheti after the dragon who gave you the power you started with, no one objected the rise to power and many ministers or nobles of the two cities rushed to present gifts and tokens of subordination.

The paperwork stacked up from the war took atleast a couple days but you had appropriate breaks in-between, your gold and silver ministers; Kaya and Eleanor, were working hard within the main castles of both cities to make notes of all problems and finances available to the country in order to rebuild both cities appropriately and to bolster trade with the eastern nations aswell as the western superpowers which were quickly rising and beginning to debate the nature of the new country alliance and would lead to diplomatic debates or discussions at a later date; the more pressing issue came about when Eleanor and Kaya burst into the room looking panicked.

Both: " My Lord! We need you quickly, the sacred wolves have challeneged you! "

You were struck with confusion, nowhere was there written anything about sacred wolves or that they had authority to challenge- you needed to find out more but the girls looked panicked so you decided to ask on the way. You headed out the manor with the girls who seemed nervous and lead you to the coast where a new island seemed to appear from the water, rising with a loud rumble and floating atleast a couple feet from the rippling waters below- the island was dazzling in colours not usual for trees of their species, oak trees with dazzling blue leaves and mahogany with vibrant white leaves as if winter had frosted all their leaves early; you faced the girls who seemed to want to rush you onto the island but you needed to ask questions before rushing in.

You: " You going to explain anything? I haven't heard of these wolves nor did I know they had authority to challenge me? "

Kaya: " They're the protectors of this land, children of Skall and Hati as they're believed to be "

Eleanor: " any physical records of them vanish without a trace and so does their island, they can only be remembered who voice and thought "

You: " I see so they want to see if I'm worthy to rule the land they protect, especially since I'm an outsider "

They both nodded, you simply had no choice but to prove yourself- jumping over and landing gently on the top of you toes, the island rocking gently with the force of your landing despite it being as gentle as you could make it; the place looked way bigger on the inside much like a lot of fantasy places, like a smaller scale narnia or something; you decided to head deeper into the trees knowing that if they intended to test you that finding them may be one of many ways to do so, there was no path so you just needed to hopefully keep walking in one direction- your horns were clipping branches though which may be an issue but you still walked forwards with a taunting demeanor and cocky attitute hopefully to irritate them, you continued walking forwards which seemed to hold no result.

You were walking for what felt like a good days travel but the voice informed you that it had in fact only been 3 minutes, time moved oddly which was another cliche- it should be another test, possibly one to make people rush and panic as they begin to age much more rapidly in short periods of time making the longer they take become more deadly. Walking in one direction didn't seem to work so you needed to trust your instincts, turning in random directions whenever your body felt like it and just allowing the random path to be your guide, it felt like you were travelling in circles until you eventually hit a wall and decided to look where you actually were- it appeared to be a small ruins and you were at it's back, you began to circle it and it seemed to turn with you- the same small crack you made being directly across from you no matter how many times you began to try walk away from it; great another test, you thought- you hoped it would be a fight for strength and done but there was more to being a leader you supposed so testing all aspects seemed to be a good way to evaluate you.

You faced the wall, no matter how many times you tried to move around it, it only got in your way again- a metaphor? maybe it was a test to see how you deal with a reoccuring problem that stops your progression; you began to think, if this was a problem between people what would you do? You'd identify a cause but that seemed out of the question for now since it was magic, the only other way to solve a problem is through an old saying you remember being told back in school; " You cannot throw away bad apples that fall from the tree, the tree will still bear the same fruit no matter how many times you try get rid of them- the only way to remove bad apples is to remove the tree; destory the source for no healthy tree will naturally sprout rotten fruit ", it was a saying that related to corrupt systems, you can't just execute or imprison criminals because more will appear- if criminals appear then there is a flaw in the system, the system itself needs to be fixed.

You: " A problem only reoccurs because the source has never been fixed? "

You smirked, stepping back away from the wall as it stopped rotating and waited for you to try go around it again- you needed to remove the problem all together so how do you remove a barrier? Destroy it! You reeled back you arm, smirking as you hit it with a devistating punch and shattered it- the wall crumbled and fell to the floor and into dust allowing you to see the ruins that lay before you- statues lined along a rectangular pond, each one bearing a water jug that poured water into the pond endlessly at different angles- they made a path leading along their backs up to a large set of stairs where you saw who you assumed to be the wolves waiting.

Both: " You finally made it... Lord Icarus Nava Tempest~ "
