It was a rare sunny Saturday at the mansion, and a lighthearted air had settled over the house.

Y/N, feeling an unusual burst of energy, decided it was time to explore the garden. She needed a break from the intensity of recent events and a chance to clear her mind.

Little did she know that this day would turn into one of the most memorable ones of her life.

As she stepped outside, she saw Jungkook and Taehyung setting up what looked like a badminton net.

They seemed engrossed in an argument over the correct height for the net, their banter echoing through the garden.

Taehyung pouted,

Taehyung: I'm telling you, it’s supposed to be this high!

Jungkook rolled his eyes,

Jungkook : And I’m telling you, it's not. We need it lower. Trust me, I’m a badminton expert.

Y/N couldn’t help but smile at their playful bickering. She approached them, her curiosity piqued.

Y/n : What's going on here, guys?

Jungkook grinned,

Jungkook : Y/N! Perfect timing. We're setting up a badminton tournament. You in?

Y/N raised an eyebrow,

Y/n : A tournament? Sounds fun. Count me in.

Just then, Hoseok, Jimin, and Yoongi appeared, drawn by the commotion. Namjoon and Jin followed shortly after, each holding snacks and drinks.

Jin : We heard there’s a tournament?

Jin asked, raising a bowl of popcorn.

Hoeseok: Thought we'd bring the refreshments.

Y/N chuckled, feeling a warm sense of camaraderie.

Y/n : Looks like it. And I bet I can beat all of you."

A collective

rose from the group, accompanied by playful jeers and laughter.

Namjoon stepped forward, his competitive spirit ignited.

Namjoon : Alright then, let’s do this properly. Teams of two. Random pairings. Winner takes bragging rights.

Yoongi, usually the quietest, surprised everyone by chiming in.

Yoongi : I’m in. But let’s make this interesting. Losers cook dinner tonight.

Hoseok’s eyes twinkled mischievously.

Hoeseok: You’re on, Yoongi. I hope you like spicy food.

Namjoon quickly scribbled down names on pieces of paper, putting them into a hat.

They took turns drawing names to determine the pairs. To everyone’s amusement, the pairings turned out to be hilariously mismatched:

Y/N and Jimin exchanged a glance, both trying to suppress their laughter.
