"We became strangers with memories."

The day began like any other, with the siblings scattered around the house, each engaged in their own activities. Namjoon was in his study, pouring over some university notes.

Jin was experimenting with a new recipe in the kitchen, humming softly to himself. Jungkook was engrossed in a video game, and Jimin was dancing in the practice room.

Yoongi and Y/N were planning their next research move in Yoongi’s room, while Hoseok and Taehyung were lounging in the living room, watching TV.

Suddenly, the front door burst open, and the familiar but unexpected voices of their parents filled the air. "We're back!" their mother announced, her tone commanding and harsh.

The siblings froze, their hearts racing. They hadn't anticipated their parents' return from Canada so soon. The atmosphere turned tense as their parents walked into the living room, their expressions stern and unyielding.

"What is going on here?" their mother demanded, her eyes scanning each of her children.

"We... we weren't expecting you back so soon," Namjoon said, trying to keep his voice calm.

Their mother’s eyes narrowed. "Clearly. We heard that Emily left. Care to explain why?"

"She wasn't comfortable here," Yoongi said, his tone cold and detached. "She decided to leave."

"Decided to leave?" their mother repeated, her voice rising. "Or did you force her out? We sent her here for a reason, and you just drove her away!"

"Mom, Emily wasn’t here to help us. She was here to spy on us for you," Y/N said, her voice steady. "We couldn’t trust her."

Their mother's face reddened with anger. "You ungrateful brats! Everything we do is for your own good! Emily was here to help you, to make sure you stayed in line."

"Stayed in line?" Jimin muttered under his breath, but their mother heard him.

"Yes, in line!" she snapped. "You think you can just do whatever you want without consequences? You think you can just get rid of anyone we send here?"

The siblings stood silently, their faces set in determined expressions. They weren’t going to apologize for protecting themselves and their home.

After a long, tense silence, their mother finally said, "Go to your rooms. All of you. I need to think about what to do with you."

Without another word, the siblings filed out of the living room, heading to their respective rooms. Only Yoongi and Y/N stayed behind, exchanging a meaningful look.

Once they were alone, Yoongi sighed heavily. "We need to make the others realize what we did, Y/N. Before it's too late."

Y/N nodded, her face serious. "I know, but will they understand?"

Yoongi shrugged. "I don’t know, but we have to try. Let’s start with the most wise one... Jimin."

Y/N agreed. "Let's start researching who he is, then."

"Let's go," Yoongi said, leading the way to his room.

Once inside, Y/N sat at the desk, opening the laptop they shared for their secret research. "What's his surname?"

"Park," Yoongi replied, standing behind her.

"Hmm," Y/N murmured as she began typing. They spent the next few hours diving deep into the history of the Park family. They sifted through old records, news articles, and any information they could find online. The Parks had a long and complicated history, with ties to various influential groups and a hidden motto that hinted at power and secrecy.

As they delved deeper, they uncovered unsettling connections and a legacy that seemed to shadow Jimin’s every move. The pieces of the puzzle were beginning to fit together, but they needed more time to fully understand the implications.

Satisfied with their initial findings, Yoongi and Y/N decided to call it a night. "We have enough for now," Yoongi said. "Let's sleep on it and continue tomorrow."

Y/N nodded, but sleep was the last thing on her mind. She left Yoongi’s room and went to her own, trying to calm her racing thoughts. After lying in bed for what felt like hours, she decided to go to the terrace for some fresh air.

As she stepped onto the terrace, she was surprised to see a figure sitting there, gazing out at the night sky. The figure turned to look at her, and Y/N’s heart skipped a beat.

"Couldn't sleep either?" the figure asked.

The voice was familiar, but Y/N couldn’t place it immediately. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she approached the figure cautiously, her mind racing with possibilities. The air was thick with suspense, and Y/N couldn’t help but wonder who else might be involved in the mysteries they were uncovering.

The figure didn’t move, simply waited for her to come closer. As Y/N drew near, the moonlight illuminated the person’s face, revealing their identity. But the story didn’t end there—this was just the beginning of a new chapter in their lives, filled with more questions than answers.

And with that, the figure’s eyes met Y/N’s, holding her gaze with an intensity that spoke volumes. There was a connection here, a history that Y/N hadn’t fully understood until now. The night was far from over, and the journey ahead promised to be as challenging as it was revealing.
