"He remembers me" I wept as I looked up at Kimberley from my position on the floor. I was on my knees on Kimberley's Carpet rubbing a very excited Lou-Lou's belly.

"Of course he does, Silly" Kimberley smiled at me

"I missed you, Buddy" I told Lou-Lou as I kissed him on the nose, he rewarded me with a sloppy kiss making Kimberley Chuckle.

Tears where falling freely down my face now but I didn't care they where happy tears and I'd not cried many of them in my lifetime.

"Here" Kimberley said passing me the box of kleenex, I took one from the box dabbing my eyes.

"I don't understand, Kimberley. How do you have him?" I asked sitting back on the sofa, Lou-Lou jumped up as well resting his head in my lap, It seemed a natural to him. I stroked his head as I waited for Kimberley to responded.

"I sort of Kidnapped him" She grinned.

"You kidnapped my dog?" I said in amazement

"It's a long story, Cheryl.. Do you want a cup of tea?" She asked

"No" I replied

"Coffee?" She asked stalling

"No, I want you to start from the beginning and tell me everything that's happened in the last four years" I told her, she wasn't making excuses this time, I wanted the full story and wasn't leaving till I got it.

She looked at me uneasy playing with the engagement ring on her finger, Why had I only just noticed that rock.

"Kim, Please I deserve to know the truth" I pleaded

"Ok, But just listen"

"Ok" I agreed

"When you left, Cheryl I was a mess, I know you left for the right reasons but it didn't feel that way, I loved you so much . .you have no idea, and you just left me"

"I'm sorry"

"Cheryl, Please . .. I need to get this all out in one or I never will" she had a painful look on her face like remembering was hurting her so I stayed quiet.

"For the first few days I just stayed in bed and cried all day, I didn't get dressed, I didn't go to classes. Sarah & Nadine didn't know what to do with me. About a week later the girls forced me to go drinking with them, I didn't want to but they really didn't give me choice. I wasn't really acting myself so every time someone put a drink in front of me I knocked it back, And I become drunk pretty fast" She gave me a weak smile, I didn't like where this seemed to be heading.

"I heard a few kids saying it would be fun to go to the fair as it was the last night on the waste ground and rides where half price, I don't know why but as soon as I got the idea in my head I was out the door heading towards the fair on my own" I shook my head this really didn't sound good

"I just walked around there on my own for sometime, Just being there made me feel closer to you somehow, Before I knew it I was stood outside your caravan stroking Lou-Lou who was tied up outside"

"So you un-tied him and left?" I asked praying that was the answer

"No, Not exactly" She shook her head "I tried the door to your caravan and it was open so I just sat in there with Lou-Lou for sometime, I felt nice being with your things. After some time I looked at my phone and there was a lot of missed calls from the girls so I texted them telling them where I was and not to worry, Luckily they did worry" She finished taking a deep breath.

"I must of nodded off, When I woke up a man was stood in the doorway to the caravan screaming at me"

"Please, Please don't say it was my uncle" I cried as tears filled my eyes "Please don't say he hurt you, Please" I begged. She got up from the chair and moved to sit next to me taking my hand.
