Rebecca's POV (1st Person):

The rest of the night was full of awkward silence until Mr Montgomery fell asleep. I tried not to look at his breath-taking face, but when I did my heart almost stopped beating. I learned the hard way.

I can't believe I cried with him right there, I can't let my emotions get the better of me no matter what. No matter Karen, all I can hope is that she stumbles over her very high heels and cracks her head open. Then I will be all set.

Just as I was about to drift off, I heard a soft buzz come from his phone. I squinted in the darkness locating it just on the other side of Mr Montgomery. Being as quite as I possibly can I reached over his legs, grabbing the phone while smirking victoriously.

I settled back down and tried unlocking his phone. I felt like a maniac, but I needed a break from him and my phone wasn't exactly entertaining. I was definitely not trying to stalk Karen or anything. I tapped on the numbers, trialing out different combinations. With no luck I reached for his hand, placing his index finger on the on button. He then stirred unexpectedly and my heart humped out of my chest.

I couldn't believe I was actually doing this. Here I was, a supposedly responsible student, trying to unlock my teacher's phone using his fingerprint while he peacefully snoozed in a changing room. The thrill of the forbidden mixed with the absurdity of the situation had me feeling like a mischievous teen caught red-handed.

As I gingerly held his hand and placed his finger on the phone's sensor, a barrage of thoughts raced through my mind. What if he woke up and caught me in the act? Would he be more annoyed at the intrusion or impressed by my daring skills as a spy? The very idea of being discovered sent a shiver of excitement down my spine.

With a sense of clandestine glee, I watched as the phone unlocked, revealing a treasure trove of apps and notifications that were like windows into a parallel universe - his world beyond the classroom.

As I scrolled through his recent messages, my eyes widened in surprise as I stumbled his chat with Karen. The name alone was enough to trigger a twinge of jealousy. Images of her gorgeous, sophisticated womanly figure flashed through my mind, filling me with a mix of insecurity and irritation.

I tapped on the conversation thread, unable to resist the urge to peek at the exchanges between him and Karen. They seemed to have a connection that seemed closer than I would have liked.

I read the latest message from Karen, "Hey there, missing your company ;)" A flurry of emotions swirled inside me as I read the flirtatious words, my heart sinking with each playful emoji that decorated the message. A surge of jealousy mingled with a tinge of frustration, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the screen, tapping out a response almost on autopilot.

With a mischievous gleam in my eye and a sense of whimsical rebellion, I quickly typed back, "Who needs the staff room when I have the changing room adventure? ;) #spontaneoustaff."

She replied almost immediately, and I couldn't help but feel a spark of pity for this woman trying so hard to get Mr. Montgomery's attention. I decided to make the most of his phone. She would assume it was him texting, right?

I shrugged and read her message. "Oh, Lane, you're such a tease! I'm sure you're joking. Rebecca must be driving you up the wall trying to get your attention."

I narrowed my eyes, re-reading the message. What does she think she is doing? Talking about me like that to him. She is such an—

"Ass." I typed out and immediately deleted it.

I thought for a moment, then smiled to myself. Time to have a bit of fun. I quickly typed back, "Actually, Rebecca is amazing. She's strong, smart, and makes everything interesting. I'm lucky to have her around. ;)"
