Third Person:

Rebecca finally decided to let Charlotte and Oliver take her ice skating. It had taken some convincing, but she knew they were only trying to help her get her mind off things. She dressed in the outfit Charlotte had insisted on: a chic thigh-length skirt in a deep forest green paired with warm black stockings. She wore a stylish, cream-colored jacket that hugged her figure perfectly, and a snug matching scarf. Her hair, a rich silky black, was styled in loose waves that framed her face nicely, complementing her bronzed skin. She opted for minimal makeup, just enough to highlight her natural beauty, and topped it off with a cute knitted beanie in a soft grey hue.

When they arrived at the ice rink, Rebecca couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves. They got their skate sizes and headed to the benches to put them on. Charlotte looked absolutely adorable in her outfit: a pale pink puffer jacket, white leggings, and a matching pink beanie. Oliver, dressed in a navy blue coat and dark jeans, couldn't take his eyes off her, his adoration clear as day.

"Ready to hit the ice?" Oliver asked, grinning as he helped Charlotte with her skates.

Rebecca nodded, though she felt a bit unsure. "Yeah, let's do this."

They made their way onto the ice, and Rebecca quickly realized that she was not as skilled as her friends. She wobbled and flailed, struggling to find her balance. Meanwhile, Charlotte and Oliver glided effortlessly, their smirks growing wider with each stumble Rebecca made.

"You guys are way too good at this," Rebecca muttered, trying to keep up.

"We've had practice," Charlotte said with a wink. "Just relax and enjoy it!"

Rebecca did her best, but the ice was slippery and unforgiving. She managed a few steady glides before feeling herself losing balance again. Oliver and Charlotte exchanged knowing looks, those weird smirks on their faces hinting that they were up to something.

"Hey, Rebecca, try skating backwards!" Oliver suggested, his eyes twinkling mischievously.

"Are you crazy? I'll fall for sure!" Rebecca protested.

"Just give it a shot! We'll catch you if you fall," Charlotte encouraged, giggling.

Reluctantly, Rebecca turned and began to skate backwards, her movements tentative and slow. She focused on keeping her balance, not noticing the people around her. Suddenly, she collided with something solid. Someone solid. She stumbled but didn't fall, and as she turned to see who she'd bumped into, she was met with a darker shade of blonde hair.

For a split second, she thought it was Lane, but then she realized it was Matt.

"Matt?" she exclaimed, her eyes wide with surprise.

"Hey, Rebecca!" Matt said, grinning as he steadied her. "Fancy meeting you here."

Rebecca's heart pounded in her chest. She was both relieved and slightly disappointed that it wasn't Lane. "What are you doing here?"

"Just thought I'd get some exercise," Matt replied casually. "Didn't expect to run into you, though."

Rebecca glanced back at Oliver and Charlotte, who were trying and failing to hide their laughter. They had planned this. Of course, they had.

"You guys set this up, didn't you?" Rebecca asked, narrowing her eyes at her friends.

"Maybe," Oliver said, his grin widening.

"Definitely," Charlotte admitted, giggling.

Rebecca rolled her eyes, but she couldn't help but smile. "You guys are impossible."
