The Bloodline's SmackDown 7/7/23
The Challenge
SmackDown came on and we were live in New York at the world's most famous arena Madison Square Garden. After showing the highlights of what transpired at Money in The Bank you could feel the shift in the air of the show everything had changed now that Roman had gotten pinned. The music hit and the Usos came out all hyped up coming off their high from their big win. The crowd was majorly on their side, which was awesome but weird to see.
I was happy for them they'd put a lot of work in for so many years and it was nice to see them getting the recognition they deserve not only as a team but as their own individual selves. The music died down and the Usos stood together in the middle of the ring.
"Hey the Usos are now in your city!" Jey stated and him and Jimmy raised the one's to the sky and the crowd followed along.
"Damn does it feel good, they said he couldn't be beat," Jimmy said.
"Nope," Jey answered.
"They said he's unbeatable," Jimmy went on.
"They did," Jey added.
"And guess what happened at Money in The Bank?" Jimmy questioned with a big grin on his face.
"He...got...beat," Jey clearly informed everyone.
"Ladies and gentleman," came Paul's voice. The camera panned over to the ramp and out came Paul and Solo. "Ladies and gentleman my name is Paul Heyman. I serve as special counsel and the Wiseman to your Tribal Chief the Undisputed Universal Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns," Paul said then him and Solo got into the ring to the crowd booing them. "Tonight, I serve as defense counsel in this Tribal Court and I offer defense item number 1," Paul said as he held up one finger.
"Wiseman please," Jimmy said.
"Shut," Jey went on.
"Your," Jimmy continued.
"Mouth," Jey finished as they went back and forth. Solo stood right in front of his brothers glaring.
"No, no let me spell this out so even the two of you can understand it," Paul kept going not shutting his mouth. "Neither one of you is to tell me when to stop talking. There's only one man in WWE that will ever tell Paul Heyman to stop talking," he assures them then Solo at that exact moment puts his hand over Paul's mic.
"Oh boy," I said sitting up a little more on the couch. As much as I wanted them all to be together and on the same page, I was enjoying every moment of this as a true fan of wrestling, the story, the drama this was so good; no family could do this better.
"The...look...on Paul's face," Zilla said between laughs. I smirked as Paul's wide eyes stared down at Solo's hand on his mic. Solo then took the mic out of Paul's hand before walking over to the ropes and tossing the mic out and to the floor it smacked. I looked on confused because I thought this time Solo was really going to say something. Jimmy, Jey, and Paul all looked at him as Solo just crossed his arms and stood there.
"What's happening?" Linda asked.
"I have no idea," I answered keeping my eyes glued to the TV. After several awkward moments and a look of shock on Paul's face Roman's music hit. I pulled my phone out and started recording a video of Sergeant who'd been sitting next to me with his head on my leg suddenly perked up. It was Roman's music I have as my ringtone to when Roman calls me. Sergeant has picked up the fact that when he hears that music, he'll see his dad. The crowd seemed more in a cheer as they stood up as their Tribal Chief was about to make his entrance. Madison Square Garden was loud as Roman emerged.
