Briar's Show Part 2

I was in my wrestling gear just needed to put my boots on. In the makeup chair Deb and Julia were adding their finishing touches to my look when Solo walked into the room. He surveyed the scene and his eyes got big as he realized what was going to happen.

"Briar...," he said coming over to me but I shut him up when I tossed him a roll of tape.

"I've never taped up my ankle and foot before and I figured who better to ask then you," I told him.

"You should have told me," he said getting down to start taping up my ankle.

"And miss the look on your face, no way," I smirked.

"So, the surprise talent in the main event match against Naomi is...," he trailed off.

"Me of course, I'm about to shock that entire room. Well, most of them only the camera crew, the two trainers, Roman, and Paul know," I said and looked at the ladies in the room. "Of course, everyone else in this room," I added. The girls finished me up and I looked down at my now taped ankle.

"How's that feel?" Solo asked.

"Good, thank you I told you it was something only you can help me with, now you going out there with me, it's been a while since we made an entrance to the ring together. What do you say we end that tonight."

"You're on," he stated and I smiled as I put my socks on and then put on my boots tightening them up for the first time in over nine months. It was a bittersweet feeling, a long-awaited feeling. I was anxious and excited for the first time. Other than my jacket and sunglasses I was ready to go. I had on my red pants with the black bloodlines around them paired with the long sleeve red cropped top. Julia added some red sparkle to my hair and Deb added Wild under one eye and one under the other with red paint that had a small blood drop dripping off the letter W of the word Wild.

"The girls just finished and Jacob and Jake are making their entrances," Naomi had informed me. I nodded at her as I took to stretching in the corner trying not to let my thoughts get to lost in my head. I knew this was a big moment but I didn't need it to get too deep I'd save that for next weekend. Next weekend was where I reminded myself, I was still a badass. Tonight was about reminding myself I was always meant to become more in moments like these, that my confidence in myself despite everything hasn't truly ever faltered. After ten minutes Naomi said she was heading out and I watched her leave the room. I'd go out into the hallway when her music started. I looked to Solo who'd been standing there close by watching me very intently.

"Am I ready?" I questioned.

"Are you asking me or telling me?" he questioned back. I thought I was asking but I really wasn't.

"I'm ready for this," I said then went over to Cindy who was holding my jacket. She helped me slip it on and it was like meeting an old friend again. I was Briar Wild as usual but now I was Briar Wild times ten. I took my sunglasses and placed them on my head.

"Kickass," Deb said.

"Damn right, remind them," Julia added.

"Take the whole thing and make it yours," Cindy commented.

"Thank you guys I could never do this with any other team," I told all of them and I went to the door with Solo behind me. I stopped and looked back.

"It was always mine, mine to have, mine to lose, and now mine to take back," I said and out the door I went as Naomi's music went off and I just caught a glimpse of green hair leaving out the curtain.
