SmackDown 7/21/23 part 2

Rules of Tribal Combat

I stepped into Jey's locker room holding Sergeant and Zilla following behind me. Jey had been pacing the room and was ready to go for the show tonight.

"Hey Big Uce," I said pulling my hoodie down.

"Little Uce?" he questioned shocked that I was here standing before him.

"Yeet!" I replied walking over. He grabbed my arm and pulled me to his chest.

"What are you doing here?"

"Well Sergeant here missed you and wanted to see how you were doing," I said pulling back from him. Jey looked at Sergeant and rubbed his head.

"Really just Sergeant missed me?" he questioned raising his eyebrow.

"Well, Zilla did too," I added pointing to him as he was leaning back against the door.

"Cousin," Zilla nodded at him.

"Zilla is with you so I take it Roman doesn't know you came to see me?" he asked.

"No, you're kind of a sore subject with The Bloodline right now," I said.

"Not surprised there," he responded then looked me dead in the eyes. "I have to do this B, I'm sorry but I have to do this."

"I didn't come here for an apology or to talk you out of anything Jey. I just came to see if my brother was okay and to say I'm very proud of you. I'll always say I want The Bloodline to be together on the same page fighting the fight as one. But I understand this Jey, I get it, you deserve to be your own person. It's kind of ironic isn't it, I joined The Bloodline to be my own person and you're trying to get out of it to be yours."

"Life is funny like that isn't it."

"Jey no matter what happens tonight, at SummerSlam, it doesn't change anything between us," I told him and he pulled me back into another hug.

"Thanks, Little Uce."

"You know why I came tonight?" I asked him.

"Because it was nearby?"

"No, well yeah. But it was a year ago this week in this very arena I was asked to join The Bloodline," I explained and he stared at me I saw the gears in his mind turning as he thought it through.

"Your right, and what a year it has been."

"B, I hate to interrupt but we've been gone a while we should go back," Zilla said and I knew he was right I just wished I had more time with Jey. I wished Jey was in the same locker room as us. I looked back to him.

"As much as I want all the members of The Bloodline to be together out there, what all of you have been doing has just been incredible to watch, you literally can't turn away from it, it's so good. So tonight continue to show them that even though the family is at odds with each other the family is still the must watch thing in WWE," I told him and we hugged again.

"Yeet, Little Uce," he said.

"I'll talk to you soon," I told him then went to walk away.

"Hey, have you talked to Jimmy?" he asked and I turned back to him.

"A few times, the last time about four days ago," I said and I saw the pain in his eyes and I got really nervous. "Why do you ask?"
