Chapter 25.5

I Acknowledge

The rage of Solo could be heard down the hallway then by Roman's booming voice trying to calm him down. I stood up and moved around the couch, Zilla following suit as the door burst open and Heyman quickly entered with Solo and Roman fast on his heels. Solo's face was red with anger.

"This isn't how it's going to go this time," Roman told Solo. "This is family, this is personal."

"He still came back and kicked me!" Solo yelled.

"Well, you did try to Samoan spike him," Paul added then got a death glare from Solo. Paul backed away not saying another word.

"In the end it will not go the way Jey wants this to go down," Roman assured him but I could see it did little to settle him. I walked over and placed my hand on Solo's shoulder. He turned to look down at me and we locked eyes having a silent conversation then Solo sighed.

"I'm fine," he said turning and walking over to his bag. Roman and I looked at each other.

"Well despite that whole thing nice job out there Chief," I said.

"Are you kidding me, did you see Jey force his hand on putting his Tribal Chief status on the line for SummerSlam," Paul spoke up once again. "My Tribal Chief you can't go through with this. There is no official contract, you don't and shouldn't have to do this," Paul pleaded with Roman.

"Are you kidding me?" I spoke before Roman could answer. They both looked at me.

"Are you sure you're the Wiseman?" I asked him and he gave me the shocked wounded Paul look.

"I don't mean any disrespect Paul, but you trying to tell Roman to back out of this match is disgraceful. It says you don't think Roman can beat Jey; it says you don't think Roman can retain his title at SummerSlam. It says you no longer believe in your Tribal Chief," I told him and Paul's eyes got so big.

"Not true, not true my Tribal Chief. I always believe in you, I just want you to think this through, but I know you can beat Jey, you've done it before it's just the stakes are so high. I only want the best for you Tribal Chief," Paul pleaded with Roman and I smirked at Roman behind Paul's back.

"Back for one night and you've done nothing put stir things up more," Roman said looking to me and Paul whipped around to see my smirk.

"Life's more interesting when things get stirred up; besides I don't get to see much of Paul these days and watching him panic is entertainment."

"You...and that....," Paul said pointing at me trying to form some words.

"Don't worry, you're still the Wiseman," I said to him patting his shoulder as he stared at me stunned. Zilla laughed behind me.

"Guess in the future I will have to listen to what Jey and Solo said," he commented.

"What'd Jey say?" Roman asked.

"To watch her, she's sneakier at shows and always causing some kind of problem."

"Someone has to keep all of you on your toes," I pointed out and I could see Roman bit back a smile.

"That she is," Paul stated finally finding his words but he didn't have a look of anger on his face more like an admiration.

"Can we go home now?" I asked.
